Sun League Preview - Elimination Sunday
While some teams are realistically out of the playoffs, they are not yet mathematically eliminated. Some teams will be mathematically eliminated after today.
Hawaii vs Kentucky
This is a clash of the titans. Reigning GLB champion vs possibly next GLB champion. Kentucky needs this victory more than people realize. If they lose today and Nebraska beats Hades, Neb will have a 2 game lead in Beta and all but lock up the division. Hawaii keeps rolling and has already locked up the Alpha division. But can they shut the coffin on Kentucky's Beta division hopes? No way! Kentucky reaches deep down and pays back Boss, who whipped Kentucky on the last game of Kentucky's monumental Vet run last season. Kentucky by 7!
Hades vs Nebraska
Big game for both teams. Nebraska is trying to lock up Beta division with a win, coupled with a Kentucky loss. Hades, while mathematically still in the wild card hunt, needs a victory or they can pack up and get ready for next season. Nebraska has lost to some teams they shouldn't have and won some close games. William is a Vet strategist, and will be well prepared. William and vipermaw82 have been going at it in the forums and are not the best of pals. This game has some many angles, but the bottom line will be...who prepared their team the best? This is a tough one but I am going with Nebraska by a late FG. Tommy Frazier breaks 3 tackles on the game winning drive and leads Nebraska to victory!
1980s vs Rebel Scum
Another do or die game for both teams. Only a win will keep the wild card hopes alive for these teams....the loser will be preparing for next season. This game can go either way, but my gut says......you guessed it....1980s! Holieway runs for a long TD to seal the game late in the 4th and 1980s stays alive in the wild card picture by a hair!
Miamisburg Cobras vs Brood
All CPU vs Brood....not looking good for rackhound....wait a minute! Rackhoud put some S*s on the team! But with the chemistry at sub 10, it won't help...and the rest of the team is still CPU. rackhound will be ready for next season, but he will take his lumps today. Brood by 35.
IF vs Birmingham Blast
IF needs this game to stay ahead of Kentucky/Neb for the wildcard spot. They can still catch Brood for the Gamma division but it will be a long shot as Brood would have to lose twice, including a loss to IF. Blast players have been AWOL for almost a month...this could get ugly. IF by 70.
Davis Empire vs Rome
0-10 vs 0-10. Only thing on the line here is pride. Who will not be the worst team in Sun League? Davis Empire has been getting crushed this season and hopefully he is taking notes. Rome is powered by William's group. Williams in the difference in this game....Rome by 10.

- Oh and good win today Cybetron - Alderran I knew was going to be an early career struggle though the number of 3 point losses I've had I'm tearing my hair out.

Yes of course.
I mean I have a system I know won't work early - at least not consistently - so taking the pain of rookie without going onward and upward would be totally pointless.
We are not exactly going against the meta just going with something that really doesn't work well until you start to generate enough consistency offensively for it to matter.
