Not to mention how well they can open their mouths.

So just got home from my son's hockey game, kinda. They were playing in the city championships for their division and ended up winning 8-0, unfortunately my son wasn't able to celebrate with his team after because he was at the hospital after getting checked from behind into the boards. Luckily there was no break, he had all feeling and movements in his extremities on the ice, but they sent him to the hospital by ambulance as a precaution, and they took x-rays which showed no break, so they said it was pretty much hockey whiplash. Last year he missed the playoffs after being kneed, this year he misses the majority of the 3rd period due to a check from behind. Sucks for him but main thing is there's no damage and he can still walk. So the game ended at about 9:00 but we didn't get home from the hospital till 12:30.

Hope he's doing better IBG. That sucks for him but sounds like he was lucky it wasn't worse.

Thanks guys. His neck is still sore this morning but he has more range of motion in it, which is good.

Get him a hooker. He won't feel any pain. Possibly some burn but no pain.

IBG with your experience with neck and throat pain you should be able to give him pointers on reliving the pain.

Hope he gets better soon.
