Destro will end build with 95 sprinting. I forgot to change his blitzing tactics. It was elusive on that play. I just switched it to combo.

thanks GE, now stop posting with your mutlis

- Special teams blocking interactions now use an average of pass and run block related skills so 100% rushing or 100% rush defense teams don't have a ridiculous advantage on kickoffs and punts

Don't believe this after playing the Lakers in my tier and giving up more KR TDs than all other games combined so far. Their blocks held forever and or pancanked my coverage unit which I can almost guarantee has the most BRB in tier.

Well, your defenders also use an average of BRB and PRT, so....

well, my entire DLine is on the coverage team and they are maxed BRB and PRT, while the blockers are pure run blockers.

His avg blocking should be roughly 50.5

My avg DLine (brb and prt) would be 71

That's if you are even correct on them using that avg for the coverage guys (I doubt it)

The Lakers also have high conditioning across the board, which is why they always play better in the 2nd half. Harder to break blocks against them. From the replays though, it looks like broken tackles are what cost you.

I don't.

SA's still work for run so obviously that's gonna help.

Should we begin the discussions?

We have a lot of problems with the passing game, mainly i want to talk about 2 things, first: Interception. In the current state, we know that isn't reliable at all, and as a turnover, it shouldn't be, but its way too rare, really bad skill.

The main reason of course is due its high cost, almost no one invests on it, it would make the player build awfull, also, its impossible for a non S* player to invest on it, even S*s rarely go above 50-70.

Realisticaly, interceptions are more common then forced fumbles, or occurs at a similar rate, what doesn't happens in GLB, HBs have a somewhat decent number of fumbles in a season, but QBs get intercepted 1-5 times.

But since power tackling haves more purpose then interception, it is worth getting it.

What it should be done? I really don't have a problem with making it way cheaper, even with high interception, it wouldn't make the passing game obsolete. But is making it cheaper enought? Should interceptions rolls be increased? We also need a Signature Ability for man coverage interceptions.

The only problem is that we are on a power running meta, these changes would only make it even stronger, outside running problems should be fixed along with it (pathing logic...).

Another topic is the falling down, its annoying, falling to the ground should be rare, even with low balance, balance should mainly be required to mantain speed, thus creating more explosive plays (for WRs and CBs), what i mean is: usually catches shouldn't result in receivers falling down (low balance), instead, they should lose a lot of speed, but staying up. Pass defenders should also need it, to keep pursuiting the receiver after a catch/failed deflection/interception, it could help creating more explosive plays.

Doubtful the cost of intercept is going to change. But an additional Ability giving man cover intercepting more viability is certainly something that could be addressed. if someone is going to go all out on an intercepting corner, which ive tried multiple times, give them the ability to grab some SA's to max that out. could make for excellent nickel corners and cover LB/SS's.

While power running is the meta, i don't currently have a huge problem with it. A couple more viable defensive plays would be nice. Like how about some DE flat strong/weak plays that aren't just out of 4-3? Most of the flat plays are flanking out the DE or LB on both sides of the ball. which provides far less pass rush allowing guys to game you all day with both pass and run. But really it is very containable at this point as it is. A couple more nice defensive play options would go a long way.

while im on the defensive play topic. some more long pass defense options would be great as well. sky man under, mlb cloud, and cover 3 tiger have been pretty nice in combinations with multiple blitz's and outside run plays. I think there is a really nice mix of medium and short plays at this point. Attention to outside run and long distance would be a great addition this offseason.

and while im on my soap box. MORE OFFENSE PLAYS PLEASE.

looks like one out of every 4 or 5 pass breakups is picked. with him built as is. he just his legend this year i think could have been last year.

Maybe its a decent rate, but it requires too much investiment to have this level of interception, he is a pure pass defender, with somewhat poor physicals, horrible run defense skills, no consistency, no heart, no toughtness.

and intercepted only 2.1% of the balls thrown his way.

8 ints / 373 targets

compared to NFL - it is like 3 or 4 seasons of targets - but only 1 season worth of ints.
