Your wr is wr1 in the first replay. Deadliest catch is wr3.

That second replay is deadliest catch in game 2 of journeyman season. So a fully boosted 3 season player to your unboosted pup mid pro. Probably roughly 20 point differences between quickness and footwork between the wrs.

post is another name for a flag, so yes and no. My receiver is on an in-route for that play, just as I said he makes an adjustment on the ball and moves upfield to get to the best place to catch it - if you watch right out of his cut he turns entirely to the opposite sideline and begins moving that way for about 1-2 ricks before slanting up to get into a better position for the pass.

I can look for an actual flag/post route if you'd like and are unsatisfied with the double I showed you, but even on his first cut there you can see it's about as clean as your S* was if he'd have had the same amount of sprinting to look as pretty going into it and coming out of it.

A flag route goes toward the sidelines.

you are absolutely right about that, except that is more a hybrid route of a post than a fade... weird play.

And no your receiver is not running an in. He's running basically a 10 yard post/slant route. Wr3 is running the in route.

In the game NFL blitz it did, was shaped like a little flag and everything, you'd cut cut in and back like a cutback route then book it to the sideline. Cute, but I've not seen anything called a 'flag' do that since.

Doh I'm wrong I got double slant and strong flood mixed on the replays when watching so it is an in route. My bad.

You mean a post flag route?

there you go, it was called post flag.

I've not seen that route in any games after that at all.

I have seen 'post' and 'flag' both used for the slant after a run, e.g. 5 yard post in, 10 yard flag out

I love the TEs cut for his out route on that one too, made it 'fancy' with how bad his technique is.

Looked into it, apparently a 'flag' route cuts out and a 'post' route cuts in, the flag is also called a 'corner' route...

But I know I've seen plays called 'TE Post' in madden that have the TE flag outward...

Post is to the Goal Posts (middle of field).

Flag is to the first sideline marker at the goal line. Deep flag is the end line / sideline at the back of the End zone.

I didn't watch the replays because I'm on my phone but yes you can run a Post - Flag route but I don't think that's in GLB2.

You'd have a TE run Post-Flag while the WR2 runs a short curl with WR3 running a Flag on the other side to pull the FS to the weak side leaving the SS alone on the TE making the double move.

Basically it's a TD if the OLine protects the QB.

Guys with no investment do that stuff all the time. But look a lot faster doing it.
