Nickel C2 Double Lurk
Nickel C1 Double Lurk

seem to be swapped in the play viewer thing where you click the highlight reel for you team. I don't know if it goes farther but just something I noticed.

Good catch. I have fixed. Thank you.

When you scout a team and look at their defense, then choose a defensive play to look at the replay list. The first column for OPP, always shows the team that is actually playing defense, which is always the same. It should probably show the offense team ID instead.

I just find something too ^^

In the player builder the Return Awr and Carrying Awr spots are reversed for WRs.

Reversed in appearance or in values? Reason I ask that is there are other visual discrepancies like that for other positions and has to do with how GLB posted the order isn't exactly that perfect. Let me know if just visual or data.

Yah I noticed the same thing, and I am using very similar logic to GLB on how to display but they display those in a different order. I will on a slow day try and figure it out and fix if need be.

Hey Stobie, you know how when you're scouting a team, there's a little icon next to each play where you can see instances of the team using it in a replay? Would it be possible to add that same functionality to the play analyzer so we can see what causes certain plays to succeed or fail?

I know that has been requested but the issue is the way I query the database is much different on a team page the largest you can do is 40 games with 150 plays per game is around 6,000 plays, but when you do the analyzer it could be upwards of 50,000 plays and could take too long to load and bog down the database. I honestly never put it to the test, but it would require a full rewrite to accommodate that.

What about a new "play watcher" page where you can select a tier, then an offensive play and a defensive play, and it'll show a list of every instance where that offensive play was used against that defensive play & you can watch those instances? That breaks it down so you'll never need more than like 300 plays (Singleback TE Drive vs. Over Will...lol) in any given query

It is possible in that case, but part of the tool is there to not give answers but give insight. I can obviously run an ajax call on the scout screen to do that after the fact because well I have the OplayID and DplayID and your filter logic and can run a query quick that way, just not sure how popular it would be if you know what I mean?

would it be a pain in the ass to implement? I just think it'd be really helpful to be able to see - say, the example I gave earlier (Over Will vs. TE Drive) - what kind of speed you need on your ROLB to make it effective. Or on the other hand, how fast your WR3 needs to be in order to consistently get open before the QB gets sacked on his route.

Changes Coming

- Play analyzer will include replays of all the plays that are in that set per previous request.
- Modify all reports and analysis based on new logic that Off Tackle plays can be inside/outside.

Changes Done

- Added new plays from the offseason into the database and into the analyzer.
