Successfully leveraged my skills and willingness to transfer into a nice raise. They realized if I left the pharmacy would not do too well so I got the equivalent of another yearly 3%.
I don't know how anyone can talk shit about Walmart as an employer and not have it reflect worse on themselves. In 2 weeks I've gotten 2 raises, and in one year I've gotten 4 raises and a promotion, plus my certification raise coming in late August. I'll be making just over what AMC pays their emergency technicians on average.

That's not going to fit well with Lurchy's "negative externalities" bullshit. Maybe you should father some children out of wedlock and make some other foolish choices so that you could then be eligible for government dole while simultaneously being treated well by Walmart--Lurch would be a lot more comfortable at that point.

I just got back from Vegas. I made sure to pack 'appropriate' attire for the trip.
Two pairs of swim trunks and t-shirts for the famed Caesar's Palace pool. They have swim-up blackjack... yes, it was as good as it sounds. Bikini clad dealers, a waterfall splashing around you and occasionally on your back, $5-25 blackjack, and free drinks all while in a pool.
Shorts and a tee shirt for some places, a polo shirt for others. It was blazing hot, so being out in the day in jeans everyday would have been brutal.
Slacks and a button up are enough for the dinners that I went to, but I made sure to wear nice shoes if I was going to wear jeans.
For the evenings I had two suits and three dress shirts to rotate through. Should you wear a suit in Las Vegas when you go out after 9:00? Obviously. How will the expensive prostitutes know that you can afford them if you aren't wearing a suit, ldo.
