I'm not saying that scientific supply prices aren't artificially high, cause they are, but this is a fairly disingenuous link/photo.

How do you know it isn't 100 rulers?

How do we know that is a picture of the rulers he directly bought on ebay and set on the table? What if it's a google image of the same type of rulers he bought because he didn't feel like taking the picture and uploading it? What if it's a smaller package of rulers from the larger package he bought off ebay?

There are 20 rulers. There are no current sales for these so beyond just an argument there is no point to this conversation.

So I ran over a big ol damn screw in a construction zone near my school and my tire was leaking faster than hell. I bring my car to Discount Tire because it's directly across the road from my work on my lunch break figuring I'm looking at maybe $30 to pull the screw and plug the tire in 2-3 hours.

It took one hour, they plugged it, rebalanced all 4 tires, restored the OEM front-rear pressures, and threw in a missing valve cap all for no charge at all.

Did you have a plan or something like that with them?

I just bought new tyres and I got the plan, which is something I never do, but the fucking potholes around here.

Nah. I was going to take it to where I bought my car (which is mainly a tire place that has 5-10 cars for sale at any time) because I'm almost positive they'd do it for free, but it was losing air quick and I didn't think I'd be able to make it the whole way. They do it for free to earn your business next time you need something that costs more.

It worked tbh. When I get new tires and brakes I'll be comparing their prices against the discount where I got my car just because of how quick and awesome they were about fixing it

Word, I would give them my business too.

My wife was pregnant recently and she got a flat in town not a mile from where we live. I was at work in the city, so I couldn't come help her. I told her to walk to a nearby garage and ask them to help her change the tyre.

Would you believe the sob running the place said he couldn't "spare any guys at the moment" to walk a 100 feet and change the tyre for her?

Guess which moron runs my local garage but will never ever get any business from me?
