The Las Vegas White Tigers of the USA A #5 league are proud to present our new website, located at
http://www.freewebs.com/lvtigers/. Here, our fans can keep up with the team through news articles, view our roster and schedule, and keep track of our history with past league standings and schedules.
Las Vegas kicked off the inaugural season of the team website by unveiling our new slogan and publishing an article on the team's offseason moves. The slogan, in a nod to Wesley Snipes in Passenger 57, is "Always bet on Tiger", which you can see on our front page. The first update to the news page consists of the following article:
Las Vegas Announces 2 Offseason AdditionsThough the White Tigers were fortunate to experience a generally quiet offseason, during which nearly all players from season 2 signed contract extensions, there were two additions of note to the team in preparation for season 3 in USA A #5. These two players should help improve a team already in position to contend for a title and to build on last year's success.

Wide Receiver Hitme Imopen - 6'0", 191 lbs., level 11Hitme Imopen joins us from the Cagayan Vindicators of Oceana AA #1. He fits the mold of our speed-oriented receiving corps, but most impressive quality may be his excellent hands. In sixteen games in season 2, he caught 29 balls for 283 yards and a touchdown, with only 3 drops. He also saw time as a kick and punt returner, racking up 470 combined return yards on 21 returns. Hitme will be an important part of our attempt to further improve our passing game.

Cornerback Bilbo Baggans - 6'2", 197 lbs., level 13Bilbo Baggans, a teammate of Hitme Imopen on the Cagayan Vindicators in season 2, joins our already-impressive secondary for season 3. He is a well-rounded, experienced, and smart cornerback. In 16 games with the Vindicators in season 2, he recorded 69 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 24 passes deflected.
Las Vegas would also like to thank defensive end Mike Strayhands for his contributions to the team in season 2. The lone offseason loss for Las Vegas, he will be playing for TCC's Wax-Bustin Warriors in season 3. We wish him luck on his new team.
