Week 7 - Top 10 Ladder Match Ups ###########################################################################
Vape Nation Football(1) vs The Simpsons(11)Vape Nation loses last ladder game but ends up #1 again this week. Maybe other top teams need to stop losing. Doesn't any other team want to be #1? Other than a TD lose to #2Average Joes, Vape Nation has been great all year.
Homer Simpson and Company have been on the rise recently, winning 6 out of their last 8 with those 2 loses coming to top 10 teams Fury and Whoville. That said, thier SOS hasn't been very difficult in that 8 game stretch either.
Prediction: Vape's only loss was to an all run team. The Simpsons are pretty much an all run team. The problem is that The Simpsons have an average defense. Vape holds on to #1 but it will be a close game.###########################################################################
Average Joes(2) vs The Ravens of Windy City(15)Joes always seem to hover around 1st place but don't quite make it. They did, however, beat Vape Nation last ladder game. Their all running offense has been average but that defense is impressive.
Windy City is 2-2 in their last 4 games. This would be a huge victory and possible turn around of thier somewhat pedestrian season. Can they pull the upset?
Prediction: Not this week. Average Joes stays put at #2 with a 21-10 victory.###########################################################################
Whoville Whos(3) vs Rochester Minutemen(13)Whoville...again. I always pick against this team and they always win. Maybe I will pick them to win this week? Seriously...we all know the routine....CPUs players, great coach, blah, blah....
Since hardhitter37 bought Rochester, they are 5-1, with their only loss coming against the might Run Stuffers.
This will be their toughest test to date.
Prediction: Whoville struggles against running teams. Rochester is more of a passing team. Whoville WINS AGAIN!###########################################################################
Winchester Rebels(4) vs Miami Dolphins(7)Winchester gave up more points in their last 2 games than the previous 9 combined. Is this a trend? Did the D-Coordinator switch up game plans? They better tighten it up if they want to beat the Dolphins.
The Dolphins, specifically their offense, has been on fire lately. They have avearged 22 PPG in their last 9 games, which is a lot of rookie. Can they keep up high powered offense this week?
UPSET ALERT!!!!Prediction:The Rebels struggle against running teams and Miami is a running team. The Dolphins offense comes to play and the Rebles defense continues to struggle. Miami with a huge upset.###########################################################################
San Diego Bolts(5) vs Las Vegas Thrashers(17)San Diego is 11-2 with their only loses coming against Fury and Joes. They have a couple of quality wins, but those were squeekers....they beat the Devils and Windy City by 3.
The Thrashers have a great owner but terrible players. Their SOS is very bad and they have some ugly loses.
Prediction: Bolts win mainly due to lack of competition.###########################################################################
Fury(6) vs Erie Chiefs(25)Fury, one of my nemesisisis, is the hotest team in Rookie, IMHO. Yeah they lost a few games ago vs #1Vape Nation, but their SOS is ridiculous. Look at their last 7 games, 5 of them are against current top 11 teams.

Erie actually has a decent roster. All human players with 5 S*s. Their is no coaching staff though, so the owner need to step up his game plans. 8-5 record with that roster isn't acceptable. They did have a nice showing vs Kiwi, only losing 10-3.
Prediction: Fury wins again, but Erie holds them to a low scoring game.###########################################################################
Killer Kiwi's(8) vs Midget Mafia(18)Killer Kiwi's have been anything but that. Yes they have a nice record but man have they scraped by some very bad opponents. They beat Animal Kingdom, a team with AWOL agents and mostly CPU players, by 5 points last game...ouch. With 9 S*s on offense, they should be putting up 30+ PPG. Kiwi's need to get that spark back.
Mafia is always a dangerous team. They beat Joes early in the season have some tight loses to top teams, including a tie vs the awesome Run Stuffers.
UPSET ALERT!!!Prediction: Killer Kiwi's luck runs out and the Mafia take home the victory. ###########################################################################
New Jersey Devils(9) vs Tecmo Super Bills(21)It's Cyberninja's best team. Not a bad record at 10-3, including a win vs Winchester last ladder game.
It looks like they just signed a S* QB and HB, with 19 and 22 chemistry right now. They should definitely help this team out in the long hall.
The BIlls are 8-5 but Detroit Leos is the GM, so they will always show up to play good ball. They have a slightly better roster.
UPSET ALERT!!!Prediction: Tough call here, but I am going with the upset. The Bills put together a solid game plan to pull off the win.###########################################################################
1980s Run Stuffers(10) vs Phoenix Nighthawks(20) Yes sir....GE is in the top 10 for consecutive weeks. Get use to it 'cause you will be seeing a lot of this team. We are coming off a league lost to Fury, where our blockers spent more time on their backs than the Atlantic City Hookers. Nothing but blocking drills this week for my guys.
Nighthawks...pretty damn good coaching staff but pretty damn shitty roster. Speaking of Hookers, their last game was a 37-20 loss to them. They did beat Jedi Order and have close loses to Vape Nation and Winchester. Jedi Order is an all run team just like 1980s...
Prediction: Skeletor comes out and makes a statement. The Run Stuffers are here to stay...all the way to VET!!!
