Thing is, I set "roll out" to "almost never" because he usually rolls into the blitz. Did the recent changes fix that?

- Improved QB rollout logic so they can stop rolling out and go the other way if there are defenders in the way.
- Improved QB rollout avoidance math so they can have more freedom to move around and avoid defenders/blockers as they roll out

Change log is your friend.

Dear god is my Sometimes scrambling pickup QB turnover prone. Not fumbles either, it's interceptions.

He's thrown 14 interceptions to 6 passing touchdowns (and I think 1 rushing).

Lol. I don't even watch him. I just spend SP.

I watch every now and then. He makes some good plays with his feet, but they really need to adjust the rushing logic for QB's. They generally do a good job of scrambling when there's no defenders near by...but sometimes it's just dumb:

In situations like this, I'd like the QB to move wider, further away from the pocket. So if he passes a "nobody open, time to scramble" check but sees there's a defender 1 yard in front of him guarding a RB, then start shuffling closer to the sideline.

Switched to Roll Out Often last night, and he's at Scramble Sometimes. Carry Awareness is 46.

He's set to Evasive rushing, why is he not going outside here? Instead he takes this awkward inside angle that's A) risky, and B) leaves a lot of yards on the field:

Pro's and Con's of having a QB that moves around a lot.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/281115/983576 - Pro, he's able to avoid pressure enough to get a throw off

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/281115/983493 - Con, he can still avoid pressure and walk into sacks on the opposite side

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/281115/983680 - Con, he senses pressure up the middle, moves out wide, but can't reverse course quickly enough. This is something you not a lot, changing direction with Footwork is very very slow. He's got 45 Footwork, I don't think upping it to 60 would change a whole lot.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/281115/983731 - Pro, the WR dropped this, but having the QB getting out wide changes the throwing lanes, which can make it harder for DB's.

P.S. Bort/Corndog REALLY REALLY REALLY need to change up CPU playbooks/tactics to something a bit more random. Some of these plays are auto TFL. Cause this play is so important to have in the playbook:

Oops, sorry. Meant running style Elusive/Slippery/Combo. I find that elusive is the best for QB scramblers(forces them more towards the sidelines), and that they excel on long pass plays. Formations are key too, with Spread obviously being the best for a scrambler.

On a non-CPU teams though, you are likely to set your RB/FB back to block in gameplan tactics, which would avoid sacks on those Con plays.

I do wish however that the QB stepped forward into the pocket more. I see it happen everso often, but not enough.

I really hope carry awareness isn't necessary for seeing things while behind the LoS. Pocket awareness should be carry awareness until the QB tucks and runs.

My DB power and Power Running QB BITCH BETTA HAVE MY MONEY! Just hit Vet and he is doing okay.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/281124/985265

I wish I would have just gone all PR and Conditiong because DB Power is shit!

It's funny because even with no pass skills his stats always seem to mirror the opposing QB's stats.

One thing I've noticed, QB's that rollout don't really notice or are aware of the DE's in DE Flat plays:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/281131/987087

This is a recurring thing, which leads me to think that Pocket Awareness ONLY applies to blitzers. It's blind to everybody else.

It looks like he sees the DE, because he rolls forward a bit as pressure comes. But it also looks like he expected the lineman to successful block.
