GG. Even when I try to pass the ball more to compensate for teams that might sell out to stop the run, the running game saves me anyways.

Not much of a sell out, so much for Outside Run plays actually working against the Outside Run. 100% Outside Run tactics allows 500+ yards.

GG Browns fans. Sometimes I have no idea why my pass D works and why it doesn't. I kept stopping you in the red zone, and you kept missing FG's. I'll count that as lucky, if we meet again, I can easily see you keeping it close.

Yeah knew it was going to be a rough game, but everything you said was right, I thought your d line would cause more pd's than they did wasn't expecting to get totally shut down in the red zone, especially considering we moved the ball well till we got there the whole game. Good game though back to the drawing board.

Yeah, my PD rate hasn't really increased since the start of the season. Which is unfortunate, but then again there's still a ton of SP that needs to be pumped into things to help with PD's. So there's still hope.

It absolutely is possible to get a crap ton of PD's, check this guy out:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/145228

He's S*, so that helps, but he first started really racking them up in Seasoned.

My Soph PD focused guys right now are building up PRD, PRP, PRT, and Blitz Awareness equally. They're in the low 60's for each. So still have a lot of room to grow, hoping to see a d-line full of what that S* DT is doing.

So far my DE's are 2nd and 5th in Sophomore for PD's (although that isn't very many), and my DT's are 1st and 4th in Sophomore. 25 total PD's for all my d-lineman (including 2 from guys who right now aren't built for it).

Look no further than the Cake stats. It looks like on half the pass attempts they're fully engaged in a block or on their back. Once your physical stats come up I think you'll start to see your PD's go up.

yeah I agree, I just want to max the pass def skills first, then will start to get those physical/anti cake skills up

So about 1 PD a game, so 4 total from the entire DL? Worth the SP?

I believe there are still a fair amount of heavy run or pure run teams left in the Pro tier. Looking at the scout tool, 3 of his games are 100% run, 1 is 82%, and 2 are around 69%.

Instead of 17 PD's in 17 games, let's say that's more like 12ish games? That puts it at just over 1.4 a game.

If 4 d-lineman are each getting that PD production, that's 5.7 PD's a game from just the d-line. I'd say that's worth it. If the average QB attempts 40 passes, and 6 get knocked down at the line, that drops their completion % by 15%, and there's nothing WR or TE builds can do about it.

but if those PDs are coming at the cost of sacks then it isn't worth it. If they are coming in addition to sacks then ohhh boy yes sir!

Fair enough. But that is assuming those 6 passes were all destined for completions. Say you're going up against a good QB completing 67% of passes, that knocks down your effective PDs to 4.

GG Mutley's, it seems I can either control the counter or the pass, not both.

Held Trips Counter to 5.4 ypc, but allowed 64% to the same formation for an average YPC of 17. Ouch.

Sometimes you want to strangle little tiny imaginary people on the screen. What do the OT and FB think they're doing? Embarrassing.

I checked and rechecked the tactics...all passing values are at zero, all rushing values add up to 100. So why did this happen?

I doubt it, who can afford to blitz the QB anymore? Any sacks coming from the d-line are tiny in number.
