His stats say otherwise. He caught most passes and in every way....short, deep, over the middle...

Not even the best receiver in his own tier.

Quickness is even more important now since it is used more for acceleration.

It's more important than it was, but it still isn't better than having a better top speed.

Being a quick 4.7 isn't as important as being a 4.3.

The wr ahead of you in the Hof obviously.

Hell you are lucky he isn't in Alaskan assassins tier as he would be not even close to 2.

Stats arent everything. He plays in a balanced offense.

Darth's efficiency is definitely impressive. He's 8.2 yds per target this season, For a non-screen WR that's really good. That said, not sure how he'll fair on higher tiers when targeted by a defense.

I don't put much stock in anything till pro when cornerback builds catch up. But he will still be secondary to the Alaskan assassins builds at best.

All this arguing over quickness for a WR, when footwork is the key for the position.

Late adjustments on the ball in air? footwork

Moving to the open hole after turning to the QB to catch a pass? footwork

Those retarded routes that start off dragging along the LOS? footwork

Sideline catches? footwork

Position battle? mainly footwork.

Hype had 0 investment in scat back abilities and yet he was a big target in Detroit's passing offense, mainly because of his footwork. He was always in the best possible position to use his 14 receiving hands to the best of his ability.
