What is a "Prequesterie"?

Also, I see what the goal of your suggestion is, but I don't think it would go over well with the big man. When you're tired, you're supposed to perform worse than when you're fresh. This would give players a bonus to their skills, which would make them perform better? I know the energy penalty would then be applied, so the skills wouldn't be as "pumped" as they normally would.

What do you think about cutting out the speed (seems like a random and irrelevant skill to boost), keeping the bonus to confidence, and possibly giving the player a pump to their energy, sort of like "Second Wind", but maybe not quite as powerful?

you know their the skills you need to get that VA. And yea you can take the speed off i was just trying to have 1 more bonus since it seems like it would be used a whole lot without the bonus.

I'd like to see what you can come up with in terms of tweaks. I don't want to completely warp your idea.

Dunno if this has been thought of before or not, so here goes.

Make the slippery VA work to some extent on defense too, for avoiding blocks when on evasive.

VA updates:

David vs Goliath: bonus to 4%

Go to Guy: add 1% bonus to pass quality when throwing to this player

Goal Line Back: change to all plays instead of just runs

Air it Out(Formerly Hail-Mary) : This player has quite an arm. Each level of 'Air it Out' gives a +1% bonus to strength and throwing on passes longer than 20 yards.

Goal Line Stand: change to all plays instead of just runs

Intimidating: change to 5% modifier

Never Give Up: add 5% reduction to pancake morale reduction

High Jumper: change bonus to .5

Overtime Killer
This player gets pumped when a game goes into final X minutes of 4Q and overtime when behind, tied, or up by 3. Each level of Overtime Killer gives a +2 energy refill at the beginning of overtime, and a +1% bonus to all attributes while this VA is active. Prerequisite: 40 confidence
X = 30 seconds per level

Clock Manager. Extend time active to 30 seconds per level in the end of the 2nd and 4th Q

Thick Skin
Trash talking means nothing to this player. Each level of Thick Skin reduces the effect of the Trash Talk, Growl, Snarl, and Glare special abilities by 1.5% when used against this player. Failed Trash Talk, Growl, Snarl, and Glare effect the originator instead.

Hard Count: +8% better chance

Comeback Kid: +4% chance to catch/hold, +3.5% bonus to avoiding fums

Posession Receiver: add bonus to holding onto passes

Mr Reliable: add 2nd down, 5% and 3%

Mr First Down: 5% instead of 3


New VAs

Slot Machine: This receiver is money in the slot. For each level of Slot Machine, this player receives a 3% bonus to the strength of Route Running and Sticky Hands special abilities and a 1% bonus to vision. Ability applies only when playing in the WR3 slot.

Security Blanket(saintedx): For each leel of Security Blanket, this player receives a +1% bonus to deflecting passes when covering a higher level player in man-to-man coverage.

Steady Foot(saintedx): For each level of Steady Foot, this player receives a +1% bonus to kick power and kick accuracy when kicking field goals and PATs against a team whose average level is higher than this player's level.

Adrenaline Junkie: For each level of Adrenaline Junkie, this loses 1% less energy when making a tackle or when being tackled.

Communicate! - Gain a vision bonus from the communication on the Offensive line.
Offensive line vision Divided by 5 = V
Players Vision + X%V.

Technique Man: Gives a +1% chance to break block when being blocked by a higher level player.

Pocket Crusher (Tehkyou): This defender can destroy the QBs safety zone. Each level of Pocket Crusher gives the player a +2% boost to pushing blockers back as well as a boost to the distance the blockers are pushed back. Must be using Power Rush settings. (Requirements 50 strength, 250 lbs)

Bull Rush (Ken1): When someone's blocking this player and this player is stronger (ideally, post-equipment) by at least 10%, +3% chance per level of shedding the block.

Dear Life Clinger(Tehkyou): When this player misses a tackle he is able to hang on till death (figuratively
speaking). Each level of Dear Life Clinger gives a +2% chance drag the ball carrier when missing a tackle. (Requirements:
40 tackling) Needs better name

Rip the Ball(Tehkyou): This vet takes advantage of opportunities. Each level of Rip the Ball gives a +3% chance to force a fumble when tackling a ball carrier who is currently being dragged. (Requirements: 50 Vision, Strength, and Tackling)

Sadist(RaunchyRob): Player has a +2% chance per level to gain morale when doing an action that lowers an opponent's morale (the gain is equivalent to the loss to the opponent).

Rooted to the Spot (TehKyou): Each level gives a +1% chance to resist being pancaked or pushed backwards. (works for reverse pancakes as well) Requirements: 225 pounds, 50 strength. (Staz: Perhaps rename to "Hold Ground" or "Dig In")

Towering Man (mbking): +3% bonus to pass deflections. Requires 40 Jumping (DE/DT only) Staz Edit: Added Prereq: 40 Jumping

Punishing Runner (drifter): This runner dishes out more than he takes. When tackled there is a 2% chance per level that the tackler takes an extra hit to energy and in game morale.

Shed Weight(Tehkyou): This player hates people hanging all over him. Each level of Shed Weight gives a +3% chance to break away from defenders dragging him down. (Requirements 50 strength)

On a Roll (Bort): K gets a 3% increase to confidence for each consecutive field goal made



Again, this is not announced changes. These are musings from Bort that may not happen.

Curious if I should add SAGA's suggestions to the forum. It was mentioned that they'd be added to the mod forum, but I didn't add them to my OP. I really think they should be added to the game, though.
