So its been 95+ degrees for 6 strait days here. My wife is at the grocery store and sees a dog locked in a car with the windows up. She tells the police officer that works security there, and he starts to walk outside to check it out. A woman in line overhears this, and says the dog was only in there for a few minutes. The cop said he was getting ready to go bust her window out. He informed her that cruelty to animals is a felony in NC.

i wish he would have busted her window out anyway. fcking bitch.

no. it was off. if it was on with the AC running then its no big deal.

I leave my dog in the car with it running(AC on) all the time. im not worried about someone trying to steal it with him sitting in the front seat

Hey TT what's the point of people on commercials going out of their way to say "I am a non-attorney spokesperson"? I thought it was just assumed that lawyers have better shit to do than narrate commercials. Is it some anti-lawsuit thing so people can't say "That lawyer on the commercial promised me _____" or what?

The advertising rules for the profession vary by jurisdiction, but I'm guessing that there is a restriction on attorneys appearing in their own commercials in some of them?

I don't even think we are allowed to advertise on TV in my province.

Moment of reckoning

Jeanne and I spent ten dollars on treatment programs, only to see Josh relapse. We gave him money to help pay bills, which he spent on more spray paint. After a series of traffic tickets and accidents in Athens, we told him to leave his car parked for his own safety and to mitigate skyrocketing insurance rates. He agreed. He lied about that, too. You know how you tell when someone in active addiction is lying? Their lips are moving.

In the span of a month he had went from 1 can of silver spray paint a week to 2 cans of gold a day. His paint huffing was completely out of control. We tried everything from buying him hookers to replacing his addiction with harmless tobacco. Nothing worked so we finally gave up. Haven't talked to Josh in 8 months and don't want to be bothered with his sorry ass again.

Had to stay an hour late at work because people don't want to do shit. Looked over at a coworker 3 times over ~10 minutes when we had a shit ton of stuff to do before close and each time she's staring above the top of the computer at the wall behind it, not even moving the mouse or fake typing. Even when she's being lazy, she's lazy about it.
