First time building a more elusive back...it can be fun. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/278161/334326?player_id=202175

My next experiment is the fastest player in GLB history: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/206676

He'll max out sprinting and conditioning at 100, Quickness at 35, Carrying awareness at 50, and Toughness at 25.

When Tuck and Run fires, he'll be at 120 Sprinting, 55 Quickness, with 100 Conditioning... he should be the fastest player in GLB history for those brief, shining moments.

nope, you can go higher on quickness with a HB and have FS, surge fire and be faster

I think Surge maxes out at a 10% speed bonus though? So T&R still gets 10 extra sprinting when it fires.

that is assuming he will be at max speed of 100 sprint when it fires, he will be shuffling or standing still. He will never be anywhere near 120 sprint

HB having FS and surge firing will have him much closer to max speed

But the length of time Tuck and Run fires for is absurd. It last for a good 3-4 seconds, much longer than surge; he has plenty of time to get up to that 120 sprint

I'm trying something similar with a different build. However, since Quickness effects 40yd Dash time and Conditioning seems to effect how long (and maybe how quickly) you get to top speed, all of this is unknown because there is no way to reliably track the data. Even if you watch games and count ticks, players run on angles, half-ticks are seemingly meaningless (per CDog), etc.

Unless there's actual Sprints, etc. done as a separate event with consistent results, there is no way to be sure who's actually fastest and therefore no way to know the perfect build.

I am curious what your results bring and compare them to mine.

QB scrambles do seem to lead to a lot of Forced Fumbles though since they get tackled by LBs. A LOT.

You could always just build a dot with 100 in sprint, quick and cond and be sure.

I wish my pickup QB would take more angles towards the sideline. He's on Elusive and doesn't really go out of bounds all that well right now. Maybe with more speed he'll be able to get those angles?

Anyone's QB actually moving towards the sideline?

Sometimes. The CPU plays a lot of Zone D and against Zone D I see a lot of inside moves leading to those LB tackles rather than getting outside.

Skeletor is set to "scramble often" but has only scrambled once in the 1st 3 games:

Call longer pass plays and hope they play Zone D.

Thing is, I set "roll out" to "almost never" because he usually rolls into the blitz. Did the recent changes fix that?
