And if he played WR3 exclusively in a game where you ran all 3 WR it would be even more possible.

Not if you look at my last post. Plagueis has a better shot at catching those quick hooks from WR1 position, although you don't usually gain many yards from those plays....usually between 3-5. But they are the higher % passes than from WR3 spot.

This. You want reliable targets 7+. Which is what wr3, te, and to a lesser degree wr2 give you.

lol..the point of throwing to the WR1 spot as opposed to the WR3 spot? Because I run a balanced offense and they can't double team the WR1 if they are worried about the run too. And I only run those plays on 1st and 10 or short yardage situations.

How did your all passing team do at Vet? I know you cleaned up in the early tiers, but you were too one dimensional. Hell, you even showed everybody your builds and game plans.

I think it was less his offense and more his defense that let him down in vet with his all pass performance.

The latest team was mostly just an offense for his fast hb.

Kinda stupid slagging Xars pass offenses... when NPW used to be faced by Xenos, their 3wr passing game was nearly impossible to stop, they just rolled down the field, with 15+ yard throws almost every play. So give him 5 completions/15 and he'd be on your goal line. PLus they were elusive enough that staying tight on them was damn near impossible.
It's like me saying you're offense at vet is crap, so how can Korriban ever be any good

On the theme of one dimensional, lets see how your zone fares v the assassins, that could get ugly

I agree with Xars on most issues. He makes the most logical posts here. Plagueis is built similar to Belgarion. He will end build with 90 quickness. And I think Xars had the best passing team ever too....so I am no "slagging" his pass offense. I just said when he got to Vet, his all passing team ran into issues. I didn't look to see why it had issues, I just noticed they started losing games. I guess it was due to the defense?

BUT...my team is built for balance and ball control. I don't really like to score fast on all drives. I like to melt the clock and wear down the defense. It helps keep my defense fresh. You can score too fast and get in shoot outs...then your defense is screwed. So it is more of a philosophy of why Academy uses the plays it does.

Oh it's one of those higher quickness than sprinting builds. Can't believe people still do that.

You say this and yet Belgarion is the best downfield WR in the game. While it may be true, there's at least one data point refuting it that is significant.

GE my Vet O of LogZilla v1 did just fine. You can look at Belgarath's last 4 seasons and see the numbers. In S13 when I added a fast Blitz LB and two good cover CBs, I was ranked #2 on the Ladder all season until getting nipped by DD on the last game.

Watch how fast he gets in and out of his routes. He leaves DBs in the dust.

Don't really believe that belgarions quickness being higher than speed had to do with anything. In fact I'd argue he gimped himself by having less top speed.

For one, it's seasoned. Most people max out awareness and deflecting while leaving the physicals fairly low at that stage still.

For 2, I watched a lot of film of plagueis yesterday and he wasn't very exciting.

His stats say otherwise. He caught most passes and in every way....short, deep, over the middle...

Quickness is even more important now since it is used more for acceleration.
