Quite possibly. Maybe in Sophomore it'll happen more frequently, but right now in Rookie the QB's seem locked into the 1st read against Zone, do or die.

I also think I'm going to have to start going bigger in my passing options. We're good at sustaining long drives, but horrible at coming up with points to show for them due to the inevitable stall

Most teams seem to not use TE Drive yet, I'm wondering if it's sacktastic in rookie or something until WR's get more speed?

I'm here too.... though confused as all hell on how to stop/slow the all run teams.

A lot of the big teams (PORN, Ashland) are using it - it's not bad particularly if you don't think your opponent is going to be ZEB'ing a lot.

Pretty much. It's sack bait if you are facing a blitz, but good if the team goes heavy coverage to force checkdowns.

Looks pretty widely used to me. 60+ times by most of the passing/balanced teams I have looked at over the last several games.

ZEB is really susceptible to certain other routes at this level though. The LILB has to get over to the TE in time, but it seems like you need a bajillion SP into physicals for the LILB to not just turn and run down the field without even covering the TE close enough for an "Unable to Secure".

I'm trying to switch to other blitz plays that has the SS cover the TE, and so far I can't tell when the SS is going to decide to contest the pass and when he doesn't. Probably a Man Awareness mixed with physicals?

I stopped using it early in the season because it was a sack vs. ZEB 100% of the time. Might have to revisit it since our pass blocking has improved

Who is left to unseat PORN from 1st overall? They can play 4 of these opponents before the season is over.

#4 ASU
#10 Virgins
#15 NW Storm
#18 ENMU
#19 Deadman

That's it.

Really hoping the next two opponents for them are ASU and the Virgins. If that happens then it's possible they could get a repeat opponent in the last ladder game or two.

Well PORN plays Atlanta tomorrow and then will play them again first round of playoffs so those two games are pretty big.

I just used my Pro playbook with my Rookie team, thank god I played against a CPU roster. Please tell me others have made dumb mistakes like that in the past.

I did that one time while coordinating both the Gasgow Rangers and Rangers Reborn, we pulled off a close win so I dodged a bullet on that one if I recall.
