Ya, and it's irrelevant at this point as Bort is long gone from these shuffle threads.

Yep, he rarely comments past the 500th post.

I understand the point you are making. The problem is, it apparently takes more than 500 posts to get it driven into his head. He started a thread, for which we all knew nothing would be done regardless, and then disappears.

So instead of fixing the problem of lvl 29's playing against lvl 45's throughout EE, he will go and create more problems by nerfing something that doesn't need nerfing, and powering up crap that doesn't need bettering... and creating more half thought out shit.

If you're so unhappy then why are you involved in this game? Or is it that you just have to bitch and moan and complain about something so when you lose a game you have an excuse?

when a level 29 team loses to a level 45 team they do have an excuse it's called being outleveled.

Hmmm, can you repeat it for me please?

How high would said caps be? What happens if a couple teams that barely got into the league had a player or 2 over the caps? You said don't release them but then everyone in that league complains about it not being fair and they are right since one team does have a distinct advantage of having a certain level player that none of the other teams can recruit.

Yes there might be teams with some players over said cap but I don't think this is any worse than what we currently have, nor is it any different than what we have in level 13 capped leagues (for example) every single season. People recruit level 13 players to those teams, they boost before the end of the season (and possibly boost again at the start of the next season) and viola, their team has level 16 (or 19) players in a league that can only recruit 13s. Would you say that you don't agree with level 13 leagues ability to do this? Do you disagree with me that this situation I'm proposing here in A is somehow different than a 13 capped BBB league?

It's completely different, it's not a person boosting, it's possible that there could be players 5+ levels over the cap.

Players 5+ levels over the cap seems eerily similar to me to level 19 players in a level 13 cap league (who may advance to level 20-22 by the time the cap gets raised midseason to 16).

This is all beside the point though. The only valid concern we can seem to come up with for not doing a shuffle is that some teams might still just recruit high level guys after being shuffled to a league with guys at there level. So I proposed putting caps on those leagues after the shuffle to prevent this. The down side to this is that there might still be some outlier players on those rosters who are above the cap where the lower level guys couldn't recruit. Fine, then if you still put no cap on after doing the shuffle then you're still allowing teams to recruit high level guys to gain advantages over teams that don't want to break up their rosters. I'd still be down for doing the shuffle with no cap because it would leave us in no worse a state than we are now with the upside of potentially much more parity within the leagues depending on how few of the owners suddenly decide to start recruiting higher level guys.

How are there level 19s in a level 13 in the OFF-SEASON?

Of course the point is made that 29s aren't competitive against 45s. I've got a team full of 21-22s playing against those same 45s. So since no new owners are posting one way or the other, let's just get on with preparing for the upcoming season. Although I think it's a joke that some of these teams seem determined to want to play games against teams 20 levels lower. Hey whatever helps you inflate your ego.

I really don't think it's much worth arguing anymore, he'll either do it or he won't. We won't agree so I'll take that guy's advice and finally agree to disagree and I'll get ready for the new season.

Ya, you jackass I'm only complaining when my lvl 29's lose to 45's+

I pay the same amount for flex as you, if not more... so I have as much right to complain about the things that are fucked as you do.

You are a clueless fuck.

And that was pretty much exactly what I was saying. But it's ok for you to say... but when I said it I was just bitching and moaning? The fuck is your problem headcase?

I'm not complaining. I'll deal with the situation as it happens. Make your case and move on. Constant whining makes the forum boring. I don't see a reshuffle happening, but I think it would make it more competitive. Come on though, you can come up with better insults than that can't you? Guess I expected too much.

39/40 for, 13 against

Honestly, with Bort's latest announcement and nothing mentioned of this possibly happening I'm not sure what'll happen.

Love the waiting game.

On behalf of the Shetland Ponies, we would request a shuffle - http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=6567 EE A #3

Our owner Styles is on vacation in Spain, but I will try to get another GM to post also.

There was a direct question that formed this thread....people should limit posts to the context of that simple request.

I think that puts votes at like 54 of the 256 teams. I don't see a reshuffle happening.
