You maybe right ... but I am going to say you have a few teams that might have something to say about you claiming the title after game #1.

I'm a little worried about the Tide next game....they are pretty solid all around....I wish I had his paycheck too!....Midway Monsters coming outta the East!

Nebraska Blackshirts 27 Las Vegas White Tigers

Today our staff went into the locker room of the Nebraska Blackshirts after the Nebraska Blackshirts Vs Las Vegas White Tigers game and learned many intersting things about this clash.


First we started off this series by talking to JAY Blackshirts Owner

How do you think your team performed today agianst the Las Vegas White Tigers? I think we went out and proved who is the power here. We hope to blow teams out like this all year.

Anything you think your team needs to improve on? Yes. Defensive ends need to contain the RB. Run blocking needs to improve. CB talent needs to arrive. Also several things are wrong on special teams

Defensive MVP? Everyone. We gave up only 1 TD the whole game. That was on their first drive. Then we hit our groove. Deric did an amazing job in the secondary. All 3 Linebackers stepped up and made plays. I'm very proud of the DT's here too.

Offensive MVP? The passing game. The pass blocking was tremendous. Jalen found the open receiver and made good throws. Memo and Colby had a hell of a day out there.

Is there anything you would like to say to people in the same division as the Nebraska Blackshirts? make sure you mommas not in the stands watching this game.

What did you think of the score? 27-7 is a good game. for us at least. not so much Las Vegas. We could have put up more though, but our Defense did a great job.

What do you think was the main factor in beating a team like this? Executing our gameplan. We found the weakness and use that to our advantage and it worked out well to us.


Now we are here with BLACKSHIRTS wide reciever Memo Ortiz

How do you think the wide recievers on your team did? Well looking at the stats our main wide recievers yards were 109, yards 106, yards and 40 yards i cant complain.

Was there a problem for the wide recievers today? To tell you the truth we all dropped some passes i know it happens but thats the only problem i could see with todays great wide reciever offensive game.

Do you think the wide recievers were a key factor in this game? I think every player was a key factor but of course there corners were a little weak compared to our WR's so we passed a lot more then i think we will along the season. Also the WR's had great yardage.

Did the score shock you at all? Actually i came into this game thinking it would be a very close game score. So yes i was shocked but i bet they were more. I was Shocked but not surprised


Last but not least we are here with the starting Linebacker and Defensive Coordinator Tyler Smith.

All in all how do you think the Blackshirts did defensive wise? I think we did a hell of job with the passing game 89 yds. we pretty much shut that down. We gave 150 yds rushing though so we have to improve on that and the DE we just got will go along way to help that. Going into the game we knew the D-line was a concern so we expected a good rushing game, they did better than i thought though.

Is there anything you feel the defense needs to work on? Rush defense surely and we need to be less aggressive. we overpursued the RB alot this game. Thats mostly my fault thought for setting the tactics that way.

How do you think the defense gameplan helped lead Nebraska Blackshirts to a 27-7 win? I think it helped a good amount. We saw the O-line as as weakness so the blitzes were set relatively high at 40% and we got 5 QB hurries and a couple sacks I think.

Anyone you think shined he most today defensively? John Nix definitely as I said earlier the D-line was the biggest concern to us the day before the game we spent a few hours the night before trying to find one. Then he really saved us boosted up to lvl 5 and a couple QB hurries and one sick play where he busted through a triple team to hurry the QB. Dorian Jackson impressed me too I wish we didnt have to trade him though I was really looking forward to playing with him.

How do you feel about only allowing one touchdown? Well they got the ball at our 49yd line and only have one big gain one us that whole gain. If they had gotten the ball at the 20 or 30 they wouldnt have scored.

P.S. I told you we wouldnt lose to a RB name revolver.

Impressive against lvl 3 CPU players...You could have been in a wheelchair and broken that many tackles..!

Yea maybe i'm being a little bit over confident. But your team does look very good. And we will probably be 2 of the top teams in the conference. But I'm just excited about the season and the potential my team has.

I think anybody who has an exceptional play should feel free to post here. They sure are nice to watch.

Now stating the best running back in the league after game 1 this year, maybe a little premature.

Hey Jay were excited too. Good to be finally playing. Will see you towards the end of the year.

Las Vegas is working on improving. We've signed 6 players so far today, and I think I learned a lot from that first game. I'm making a lot of adjustments. I hope we get another crack at you guys.
