gg Red Bulls. I was expecting a real close game, not 44-14. Very surprised at the outcome. Now lets go kick some ass in AAA!

I agree with Kurt. Definitely didn't expect this type of game. It's been fun with you all here in AA, best of luck, and it'll be fun to see who comes out next year.

Yeah, Mack Rigg is a bitch.
He's seriously pissed about being left off the Pro Bowl 1st team.
As he should be.
As Domino's agent, he KNOWS M.Rigg and J.Potpie should've been first team.
But the fans voted.
EDIT - fans = stupid owners

And I would right now like to declare the Winona Warriors, who barely lost to the Firestorm, who kicked the Red Bulls butt, as the favorite to win the AA4 championship next year.

Let the poo flinging begin

The only way that we win the championship is if Rick Blaine pulls a Tom Brady in the first game of the year, Willie Beamen get's the job and Bill Simmons' Ewing Theory works its magic.

You heard it here first folks.

Mack is awesome! I hope he can continue that success in AAA...but I doubt it.

Snaza, I was talking to my brother about next year here in AA Alpha and you guys are definitely at the top of the list of teams to beat. Still I'll bet the Idols and a few other teams will have something to say about it. And who knows what Mekong is going to do, Flounder is really creative in the offseason and may bring some level 40's to put you guys down! (not sure if there are any 40s yet but he'll still bring some in somehow)

However, I think you should come in and just trash talk all season long about how you're gonna win it all, it'll be more fun to read the forums!

One last comment....go Alpha!

That was a crazy game. I can't believe my kicker got a fumble recovery...just unbelievable that it was such a one-sided game. The RNG was really on our side today.

I agree with jenred. We're in the mix to win the division but there are quite a few teams that are even with or right behind us and they're all going to try and get better in the offseason. In fact, we are actually at a slight disadvantage in a way because we are not going to usurp our current starters for higher level guys like some other teams might do. Our advantage is that we are going to keep our quality core year in and year out, because we are friends and we're all married to the Winona Warriors.

I really think that your group of dedicated friends is tough to beat. I think it helps a lot with game planning which is a big advantage and we have seen from Flounder and others how bringing in some big name player doesn't always end up helping.

Well, we don't have 100% participation on the player tactics either. We have our share of inactive owners and all that jazz too. It is a huge advantage, but you know what you're going to get out of the Warriors. We aren't going to change our team much from year to year, which has its pros and cons.

Flounder had to deal with the chemistry issues that come from making a lot of moves. IF he can keep that core, he is in the mix to win Alpha.

I don't want to put a list of who I think is in the mix, because it can change quite drastically with free agency and I'll forget someone who will take it personally and show up at my house like Jay and Silent Bob and try to beat me up.

I'm not going to crazy with acquisitions this year.I am going to go Stucknut's route last year and adjust builds to be competitive with the talent that we have here in the conference.Almost all of my team is returning ,So if we can finish within the top 4 I'll be happy. For anyone to say that they have an absolute lock to win it,well we all know that answer. We have a set plan and expect to follow it. Last year it was crazy acquiring anything I could,Got burned a few times but lesson learned.

We're named after the Winona State Warriors (small college in Minnesota where a few of our owners went to college) and their rivals are the Duluth Bulldogs (another school in Minnesota). I'm not an expert on the rivalry, but our owner, jplaw1314, named a player "Beat Duluth Bulldog" and challenged a team that he found named the Duluth Bulldogs to a friendly. They weren't very friendly to us.
