Mizzou looks like they should be improved in almost every way this year, especially if Pizza Delivery Man of the Year Chase Daniels plays like he did last year against everyone but OU. The real test for Kansas will be the USF game, as that will prove where both programs stand right now.

'll buy into the Bo P. hype, but Nebraska still seems a year off to me. Their recruiting class wasn't as good as they wanted.

See, if you want respect you need to keep making intelligible posts such as this one. I can agree that Mizzou wasnt a fluke last season and that they have a very talented roster... however I think their preseason top 10 is off and I have a strong feeling that Illinois is either going to beat them tonight or atleast show that Mizzou is over rated by keeping it close.

Alright, I know the games not over yet but im ready to eat my humble pie. Illinois looks like shit and Mizzou looks like the real deal and is going to get a quality win tonight in blow out fashion.

My Red Raiders offense is off to a great start though, Harrel is already at 500 yards passing and still has a quarter to go

Big XII is looking strong! I always get scared when my Longhorns have to play Tech. They can beat anybody of any given Saturday. OU is looking hot. Missouri is strong. Kansas is solid. Great conference this year.

Fuck, when Colt McCoy is going 20/23 against FAU, it kind of makes you wonder. They're not an undisciplined squad by any means, and Schnellenberger has had a decent recruiting class, but if McCoy is playing near perfect, I wonder if this is going to be this kid's breakout year.

Two posts in a row! Your really starting to grow on me. I honestly believe that the Big12 is once again the second strongest conference in the nation and it helps to back up that claim with the north once again fielding some solid teams. McCoy has been consistant but he has yet to be dominant but I think the talent is their to justify all the hype that surrounds him. Hopefully he wont let them down, because Snead looked awfully good for ole miss last night.

McCoy can never be a failure at Texas because while he's fairly consistent, he doesn't make game-losing mistakes. He could play exactly like he played last year and no one would complain (even though he melted down in some games), but with the huge losses at backfield from last year to this, Texas really really needs McCoy more than ever. McCoy might be a better QB when he leaves Texas, but he's still young, raw. It seems like a lot of UT's season truly depends on if McCoy stays healthy and consistent, even if he doesn't grow much.

I didn't get to catch Snead last night. I'm interested to see if the Nutt will crack the SEC once more. I was watching the Mizz/Ill game and Bama/Clemson last night.

I don't know if I agree with the Big XII being the second strongest conference this year. From all of the pre-season hype, it certainly seems like it, but I'm really interested to see how the Pac-10 plays out this year. Lord knows the ACC will be a crapshoot, CUSA will be same as it ever was, SEC will be dominant once more, and the Big East will get a rep cause of WVU and USF, but it just seems to me like the Pac-10 has a lot going on this year. Arizona put 70 on a decent Idaho team, ASU looked a little less convincing, but USC fucking rolled. If Oregon ever finds a QB, they'll be alright, and if Stanford can manage to unseat Or. St. then this season should be fun.

USC rolled. OSU is going to the shed. They think LSUs D was tough last year. USCs D is one of the best ever. Ton of talent, speed, and size. Hell their CBs are 6'2".

If my Huskers are respectable this year, I'm good with that. I think they will do a lot of growing up this year.

To make it a perfect year, ND and the stomache bypass, donut eating ass clown will have another complete meltdown and he will be run off back to the pros like that other college coach wannabe that nearly destroyed almost a half a century of tradition and dominance. In Nebraska, the "C word" stands for Callahan. I don't believe I just used the C word. Now I will have to go to church aka Memorial Stadium.

LMAO! I hope no one saw you type that C word. Things get ugly 'round here when you start tossing that one around.

The 'skers didn't look fantastic, but definitely looked more like the team they used to be. I got the feeling that any time they had the ball they could have broken a big play, which is the same scary feeling I used to have whenever they met up with my Sooners.
I think it'll be a much improved season for them.

I was amazed to see the Huskers putting up points after last year's disaster

It wasn't hangin points that was the problem it was keeping the other team from putting up more.

Hopefully a little pent up aggression will help us out a little this year.
