Its known that we all have players we think deserved to be on our own ballots, but we set the rules for a reason. The guys you mentioned did get votes from other teams, and that how they get their recognition, with no biased involved.

For instance, biased is that you would have put your CB Phillips in over CB Miss Doo. Your bias would have made you pick your own CB over a CB who accounted for 6 interceptions and a FF with 2 picks returned for TDs.

Being kind of picky there, aren't we? It isn't like my late vote is going to influence anyone else's votes. I also want any of my players here that view this public forum to realize that I support them and appreciate their play. As far as Miss Doo goes, you have a very valid argument for him and perhaps he should of been considered higher. I did want to recognize Travis's 37 passes defensed though and thought he did an excellent job. And I'm not certain if you can allege bias if I selected seven players off your team with votes and the most I would of possibly selected off my own team would of been eight.

If you want to whine about that as being biased to my own players, then I guess I'm guilty as charged........

That's not my point man. Nothing wrong with liking your own players, because you have some good ones and they deserve recognition. But everybody agreed to not vote for their own players, and I don't see why you felt the need to be the only one to give your votes with caviats... "I vote for this guy but my team's player really deserved it".. That's what I am talking about I don't think it was a classy move. That's all. I think your a classy owner so I don't know why you had to say it... How would you like it if I voted for your player and said.. BUT.. only because I cant vote for my own guy.. This is something for the whole league (because we have a good ass league) and not for just your team... I voted for some of your players and so did all the other owners... so thats how your boys get the recognition they deserve... thats all

The votes so far, look pretty good to me, so I think I will abstain.

The owner and team of the year has to be whomever wins the Zeta championship game.

I understand your point showboat and get where you are coming at. But I will be the first to admit that I am a player's owner and will get up for my guys more than i should. Is it a little bush league? Probably. But I can't honestly apologize for backing my guys and being a Meat homer. In retrospect it was probably not the wisest of moves. But it's also not the first time I've seen it done and I wouldn't of been affronted in that way if someone else would of done it. With that said, I do see where you are coming from and completely understand your point. Just consider me the Bobby Cox or Jim Leyland of EEA1Z. It's wrong. It's out of line. But it's for my guys so I can't take it back. I guess I'm as bad as Spurrier voting for Duke in that aspect.

Cant say either way about it seeing how I came out before anyone else specifically naming my teams QB as a my opinion vote. I was using him as an example while we were deciding things.

However I do want a few changes in place for next season. Make em all private but we do a 2 vote session. While doing Alpha I was noticing the differing opinnions on who is one of the leagues best for positions. Look at the list and I tell you how many people got votes at each position. Do a vote like we just did to compile the "Nominations List" then do a Vote from that to narrow it down. But thats neither here nor there atm.


LT would still like to see your votes even though I agree with you there is some pretty good casts already. Though Owner of the Year I have to say would go to Cade. Even though the team didnt go as he planned he kept us entertained.

No prob Meat. Like I said... You are a great owner and I have respect for you and your team.

We all get along no problem and this whole Pro Bowl thing has been great.

Nic- As for making the votes private next year, I think that would be a bad idea. The best part about this whole thing is seeing which team gives credit to which players. A lot more agents and players get recognition this way and its a lot more fun.

so where is everyone elses ballots? Kind of sucks that only a few of us participated.

Yea... still like 3 owners who are active on the boards all year... maybe they took an early break for the offseason.. too bad..

dunno indeffinalty postponed, because of school work i just got overloaded this week, all the ballots are posted though no one Pm'd me so if someone else wants to calculate them by all means go ahead.
