true, those automatic projections only seem to go off of the current records and the overall team matchups can't really tell you much for future matchups. Nice start though.

I liked gtbices power rankings because he supported his rankings and it makes more sense to talk about the current standings instead of the future in this game

The only real solution is for the Lumberjacks to move up, so I bring my rankings and such to the A #3 forums. Well... Elvis', Longhorns, Psychos, Cha Chings... What are you gonna do to make that happen?

Obviously you never payed attention. I enjoyed reading gtbice's rankings. Actually never commented on them. Had no need to, they were well done and very indepth. Unlike you and boyfriend's worthless posts.

obviously false. if you knew anything at all (or had ever tried to make projections of your own), you would know that spreadsheet takes a notoriously long time to set up. and although i think the spreadsheet/macro could use some tweaking, it was indeed supported by actual math.

i'm already aware that you're an ungrateful, self-indulgent, hypocrite of an asshole... that was pretty much my point.

the spreadsheet i used went off of strength of schedule and PF/PA, not current records... but yeah, it was an incomplete picture (true of any projections). and just to note it: they were indeed precisely for "future matchups".

i guess there are some differing conceptions of "support" here. i would think statistically drawn results would have at least equal standing with sheer qualified opinion.

My point is proven. No thought put into it. Stats do mean a lot yes but just like with real football there is more to it than stats. gtbice put effort into it. You did not and are obviously simple

Would love to have you up here Sully. It's not as much fun here where you've got people like akleine to put up with. It's like the Cajuns/Psychos rivalry without the humor, and without the rivalry. Just one guy who doesn't know a damned thing but likes to hear himself talk (the difference between him and Chad Hall is Hal liked to talk about himself, this guy likes to try and talk trash he has neither the intelligence nor qualifications to justify).

again, if you knew what you were talking about (hint: you don't), you would know they take forever to setup and tweak. quite frankly, i obviously put more effort into making projections than gtbice did. and yes, i wasn't satisfied with the results, but i was considering switching to a more robust spreadsheet that took more into account than just SOS/PF/PA:

just to be clear: you realize those weren't my projections per se, right? you can't seriously be that clueless (i hope).

I was just saying that projections suck, id rather see rankings based on what has actually happened
