well when someone calls your team the speck of white on top of chicken shit, one may feel the need to defend themselves.

Either way, this was a scrimmage with no scouting and vanilla defenses/offenses and thats all it is, its definitely not a reason for DC to walk around with our chests puffed out. It was a tuneup for DC and the Sphere before we hit the hard part of our schedules and I think it gave us both some good information.

Your right DC is a good team and I agree, but the Sphere lost by 41 points, not 10. Did they use tactics that actually cause their offense to go backwards? No offense, but I see all this talk about we tried this and we tried that, but they just lost by 41 points, not 10.

Surely the Sphere can't be happy about losing by 41 points no matter what tactics were used right?

We used a passing Advanced AI and still had the D settings from the powers game, my idea was to spend as much time on offense as possible, unfortunently it back fired, DC just got alot of long drives that lead to scores, by then we are in the third and time is up and we are throwing long bombs. My fault for not setting the correct D settings simple as that.

no worries, East still needs to win an A1 title before we can walk with any swagger. hopefully that's this year.

If we lose in the conference title game again this year, I'm going to change our team name to A1 Choke Artists... 4 years in a row might be too much for me and I'd almost prefer to lose in the first round than the conference title game this year.

Worst part is we lost to Cape Cod when they scored a td with 20 seconds left and CBMB after we tossed an INT with 1:49 left and they scored the td with 1:34 left.

Might feel better if we got blown out, but those were 2 tough ones to swallow.

I don't even care about the East vs West stuff. All that matters is winning your conference. The rest is just talk.

What I thought I saw was the Sphere making excuses and blaming it on the AI? When you lose by 41 you just take it like a man and move on. You can't blame a sim when that happens.

It is good to see that the Sphere has basically accepted defeat and not blaming it on anybody other than themselves, which is how you should accept defeat in my opinion.
