I wouldn't count the losers bracket of the playoffs last season a game.

Wow, finally, something Cerneo said that I agree with.

I already challenged the Orangebloods before the season began, the owner turned me down so I doubt they will do it now.

(Please note - I'm not saying they were scared of DC or backed down from a challenge, there's multiple reasons for not doing a challenge ranging from not seeing any benefit to not having the time)

Should be a good game. I'm really looking forward to it and should be a good tune up for both of us before we hit the meat of our schedules.

I dont care about the results of the game. I cared about how their players were built and performed. How hard is that to understand. I like the drillers, I really do, but they are a 7th seed in the west.

there is more to knowing how a team is built than just a stupid scrimage. game. btw, check which team we slept through with generic offense and defense in the last game last year.

Forum talk like this makes time so much more enjoyable when waiting for the sims to get here.

This is getting good....let me grab some popcorn!

I've only played a couple of East teams in meaningless games (except the Dogg Pound in the BBB title game but that was decades ago) so I can't say they're truly strong or weak, but one thing is for sure....they do seem to be pretty fed up with the shit talk from the West. While the case can be made that Western teams have dominated the championship game in the past, none of our current teams can honestly boast because they haven't tasted that victory yet.

And while the West is busy reliving past glory days and engaging in endless debates about Aggies, Longhorns, and Sooners the East teams are the ones consistently posting power rankings and projection threads these days....which the West used to do regularly. We still get the occasional thread from BuddyHorn, which is usually an excellent read, but lately the boards are far more active with East teams.

Does that mean there is a power shift in the A#1 from West to East? Not likely but I wouldn't underestimate them. Are the teams in the West getting bored and complacent? Maybe not but it sure seems that way lately.
