Week 12 Games of the Week:I couldn't pick just a couple of games this week because there are too many good games, but here's my rundown on what look to be the best or which have postseason implications
West:
-
Ogopogo at Westwood (winner has the advantage for that 6th spot in the West)
-
^^^ at Québec City (one team should end its 2 game losing streak. Can the Caret Kodiaks hold on to the last playoff spot?)
East:
-
Winnipeg at Puvirnituq (without question, this is the matchup all the major news networks will be following, I hear that all 1287 residents of Puvirnituq will be at Amaamatisivik stadium, leaving the Inuit settlement a free for all for looters)
-
Halifax at Hamilton (#5 seed up for grabs)
-
Lincoln at Niagara (as winners of 2 of their last 3, can Niagara win to claim the 8 seed in the East?)
-
Sacramento at Canadian (While it is possible that this game will end in futility with a 0-0 tie, I predict that one team will not only finally score, but that they will also break their streak and hold the opponent to fewer than 45 points. One team should leave the ranks of the winless).
