Looks like the U Canes are dismantling, saw them in the trade forum. I always hate when a great team breaks up.

I was told by one of their former players that they were planning on dismantling at season's end. I guess it is happening sooner.

A former player PMd half the league player builds for most of the Canes' roster. From what I understand, they were planning on disbanding at the end of this season anyway, but they opted to do it immediately after finding out that most of the league knew their player builds.

Nahh, in all seriousness who cares? I mean yeah, it matters, but hell we know they have good builds there. They can still whoop ass even if people know what's coming. Hell the fact that they know that the team they're playing might know would change up tactics enough one way or another to second guess either side.

Sad to hear we are losing yet another top caliber team. Like others have said.. wish all the Canes players good luck where ever they may end up.

If you are planning on gutting and trading in the team to a new owner... I assume I speak for everyone in that we hope you would game plan to ensure relegation. There are some teams at the bottom close to a complete turn around that would appreciate one more year to become a competitor. It would suck for them to be relegated in favor of a new owner starting from scratch because yall won enough games while gutting the team.

I wouldn't worry about that, there are already 4 teams competing for relegation in Zeta. I don't know that there's anything they can do to make sure they loose 'more' than the others.

if it was me i would be tight about people knowing my builds but fuck it i dont think its that much of a difference.i mean if u scout good and watch film u can tell alot of things.i think they could have stayed and still been a great team but hey thats just my htoughts.i wish them the best

Sorry guys but do to not having enough time, former asshole player sending out builds among other things I am selling the team. I had a great bunch of guys on the team and it was fun. No complaints about the team. I will still be around, not quitting GLB. It was a possibility that I was going to sell the team at the end of the season but it was still up in the air.

The U Canes were the team I looked forward to playing the most every year for two reasons. First one being it was the team I started out on back in Season 1, when they were CPU owned and named the Wollongong Lightning. I played a few games there before I was offered a contract by Thurinn to play for the Gods. Secondly, even though we won all four matchups, every game was a battle. We basically stole one victory due to sheer luck of recovering all 6 of our own fumbles, and in last years matchup, we evaded a game winning FG attempt to steal a 1 point victory. I hate to see such a great team and rivalry go.

I can echo this sentiment as well. In season 1 I think the U Canes won the game the day I bought the team (no time for preparing even, lol), but since I took over we were 1-1 against each other and I was looking forward to more battling in the trenches in that matchup. Sad to see the team disbanded but I know things happen.

If any of your players ever need a home they are welcome in IC as you guys were classy from day 1.

I second what Lurker said....every season our game against the canes them was the one i anticipated the most. Some real classic games between us. Too bad we couldn't play one more time.
