It's a question of score, Stubbs. This early in the season, roster's still the biggest component, to prevent situations like Uluru's 2-0 shutout starts from vaulting them to #1 (like it did in the DOA Rankings). You do have the 3rd highest margin of victory (which factors opponent strength) adjustment in the conference, but the folks currently ahead of you have markedly higher roster scores. The 1-game does gain you 5 points on Tonga and Bikini, though that wasn't enough to overtake their roster lead.

Did you not read the press - thats not the only reason we were top...

Thanks again Sarg - we got our asses served to us by BAMC - it'll be a while before we hit the heavy heights of 9th again!

Actually, with a 5-point lead on Redscape in Week 2 and Redscape and Tasmania (#11) losing, there's no reason to believe you won't hold the #9 spot.

Good game ChristChurch, it was nice to see we only gave up 33 points. We failed to score, but we're looking at that as we're making improvements at least. We held The Nigerian Nightmare to only 57yrds and a TD as to last year when he put up 400 on us and scored a lot. Our defense is coming together, now if we can only get that blasted offense on the right track, we migh actually give this conference some competition in games. Good luck next game.

You are definately improving, thats a pretty good defensive showing - we feel pretty lucky to have got you guys early on, I think you will be a tougher nut to crack late in the season.

Definitely a good effort by you guys. We were testing out some things that I don't think went too well so we are going to stop doing that lol. According to my stats though he ran for 78 yards and a TD....don't be snubbing him on his hard earned yards =)

I have no doubt you guys are turning that corner. Different team than last year without a doubt! GL to ya's!

Great work, Sarg. Man, it's like seeing on old friend when I get to see these rankings weekly. Of course, a platonic friend .

What a race that was between #2-#4, with .003 points separating them. I'm sure with the Chinese loss this week, this will jumble up the ratings even more. That only reminds me of how much more evenly matched the teams are, and how much more unpredictable the final scores will be. This league's been a whole lot of fun.

And I'm certainly looking forward to next week's rankings!

GG Cimmerian!! taught us not to look past the teams in Oceania...good gameplan and even better execution... hopefully we'll be able to overcome next game against another great opponent...

Thanks! GG to you too! We're no longer that 1-15 team we were last season ...don't get me wrong, we still have a ton of work to do and a few holes to fill, but we're starting to make some strides. Tough game next week for us though against El Fuego...gonna have to really work hard to game plan against these guys.
