Obviously you're too childish to apologize. Fine with me I'll take the high road.

Are you retarded or something ? Did you just finish a hit of marijuana and then decide to come read the GLB forums or what ? Your very first post in this thread was in page 3 stating "I think I need an apology."

An apology for WHAT ??? WTF are you smoking ?

I can guarantee you that Favre won't end up on the Bucs because he doesn't want to play there. He's going to force the Packers to either trade him to Minnesota or release him, in which case he'll probably sign with the Vikings anyway.

He will sit on the bench as a back up before he gets traded to the Viks or released.

Ya and that would be a ridiculous end to one of the greatest QB careers in the history of the NFL. How can the NFL Commissioner allow this garbage ? The man is still healthy and has the heart and desire to continue doing what he loves, but yet his own team is trying to force him into staying retired ?? Baloney ! This man is set to make millions by simply sitting home and doing nothing, but he wants to play football ! I guess the NFL is truly taking a turn for the worse. In a league full of greed with contracts including more money than one person can ever spend in a lifetime, we have a man who simply wants to play, even if its for peanuts. And they will not allow him to play ? Something is severely screwed up here.

they're trying to test out the new rookie players, give them some some time to get good

He simply didn't want to play for a few months when he was retired and the Packers organization tried MULTIPLE times to make sure he wasn't crying wolf. They prepare for "life after Favre" and then he wants to jump back into the picture. If Brett simply wanted to play, he didn't have to announce his retirement.

Understand -- the Packers have moved on. Go to your boss/lead fry guy and tell him you quit. Come back four months later and tell them you still have the passion for fries. See if they give you a big hug and welcome you back.

His remaining 39 million over 3 years isn't peanuts either.

So you work at Burger King ? Nice to know. But it doesn't mean that I do

By the way, I said "we have a man who simply wants to play, even if its for peanuts."

Understand -- Brett Favre would play even if it was for peanuts.

Understand # 2 -- Brett was forced into retirement. They have been pushing him into retirement ever since they drafted Rodgers. So finally this year Brett gave in to the pressure. Watch the youtube video of his retirement press conference, and its very obvious that Brett was unsure of himself when he announced his retirement. It was a bunch of random scrambled mumbo jumbo.

So, that just adds to what the Giants proved...Favre can't handle pressure anymore.

What team with a chance at the Super Bowl wants a guy who can't handle the pressure leading them?

......um

Well, except for the 07 Giants, of course.

With or without Brett Favre, the Green Bay Packers will not win a Super Bowl anytime soon. Not this year, not next year, and surely not as long as Rodgers is the QB.

Its not that Brett couldn't handle the pressure. Its more like, Brett understood that the team was ready to go in a different direction and so he stepped aside to let that happen. After a couple of months have passed, he got the urge to play again. In his mind, he probably thought that he could either go back to Green Bay or just get released. No big deal. But shockingly it seems that Green Bay wants to play dirty and blackball him from the league. Thats evil. Just let the guy go. Release him. Why even try to get something in return from him after the team has 'supposedly' moved on ? Ha. Green Bay is a joke.

favre could have demanded a trade instead of announcing a retirement.

that way, he gets to play, and he doesn't have to sit on the bench.
