Probably should have waited more with my game predictions, as atm it do looks like Belgian and Sweden might be a close game.

Aint easy rebuilding a completely gutted team...I think there is like 2 players on the team that were on the team at the start of last season...at a minimum we won't be going 0-16...

First round results:
Alpha:
The supposed big game between Belfast and Bow Street never happened as Belfast shockingly just crushed us, even though they didn't do that many yards more than us.
25 missed tackles says it all, and the scary part was that it didn't matter if they had 20 or 65 tackling.
So Belfast takes the lead in alpha after this.
Southriding holds 2nd after completly crushing Belgrade, leaving them no chance at all.
Glasgow had as expected no trouble against Port St Lucie and holds 3rd.
IKK Fu showed their strenght as they crushed Spaniards, and even though Spaniards managed to get into the game in the second half, they never had a chance to catch up with them.
This put IKK Fu at 4th
Reykjavik gave Marseille a good fight during the 1st half, but when the 2nd half came they got tired, and Marseille just walked over them to a clear victory and 5th place.
Cork met Lyon where Cork scored the first TD, though Lyon struck right back with one of their own.
Cork struggled to stop Lyon and when they got stopped themself, Lyon easily made another TD.
It looked bad for Cork as their offense couldn't do much, but a forced fumble on their punt gave them another shot which they used to tie the game again.
But yet again Lyon had no trouble scoring taking the lead 21-14 to halftime.
In the 3rd quarter neither team seemed able to get anywhere, and it wasn't before the last quarter Lyon managed to get thier offense going again. Still they only got a FG out of it.
A great kickoff by Cork saw them stopped 15 yards away from the endzone, and they had no problems scoring another TD.
But they could just not stop Lyon who finishes the game with another TD and a deserved victory and 6th place so far.
Now watch my two pretty signs here reading "Storm isn't objective" and "I WAS RIGHT"
This season favourite South Yorkshire met playoff contender Limerick in the first game.
The first half was hardfought with neither team gaining any advantage as the score ended 7-7 at halftime.
However second half started with a bang as South Yorkshire had a great kickoff followed up by a long rush which the Limerick defenders weren't even close to stop.
Limerick came back, but got stopped and missed their FG.
South Yorkshire was deadly effective now, scoring another TD securing their lead.
Limerick used their last power to score another TD, but then both teams offense were to tired and though South Yorkshire scored a FG, neither team managed much more.
South Yorkshire is on 7th .
In the last game Sweden met Belgian and decided the game allready in the first quarter by scoring 2 TD, with the rest of the game turning into a boring stalemate.
Sweden takes 8th.
Zeta:
Nola is leading Zeta after they not unexpectedly massacred Phoenix
Tranmere holds 2nd as they easily crushed Leeds
Rome met Munich and should have won easily.
But munich scored first after a long rush. However Rome managed to do the same scoring one of their own.
But after this they just didn't get anywhere while Munich put 2 FG before the first half ended with a shocking 13-7 lead to Munich!
Unfortunatly for Munich they had used up all their energy and the 2nd half saw Rome just pound on their defense scoring 2 TD and a FG.
Munich did manage a lucky TD with a pass, but as they couldn't stop Rome, Rome did another TD before the game ended and takes 3rd.
Kilkenny defested Athen easily and takes 4th.
Vatican took the lead from the start and never gave Koln a chance giving them 5th.
Favourite Buffalo proved to strong for the Fighting Irish taking the victory and 6th place.
Shamrocks didn't have to much trouble against Walthamstow, and takes 7th with this win.
Favourites London met playoff contender Drunken in the last game.
Neither team managed to get far and it wasn't before in the middle off the 2nd quarterDrunken broke the stalemate with an interception.
Using the opportunity well they scored a TD and took the lead.
London tried to strike back, but had to settle for a FG before halftime were Drunken lead 7-3.
The 2nd half was much like the first, though London managed to score another FG.
The game turned around as London intercepted a pass and ran straight to the endzone and scored a TD.
Drunken never recovered after this, while London pressured on, though only gaining another FG for their efforts.
London wins this hardfought game and takes 8th.

2nd round will be:
Alpha
Belfast - Cork City (Seeing how badly Belfast crushed us, they should have no problem with Cork who proved they aren't good enough)
Southriding - Glasgow (Both teams had an easy game so far. I think Glasgow is the better team and wins this, but i don't think it will be that easy for them)
IKK Fu - Reykjavik (IKK Fu will have no problems against Reykjavik)
Marseille - Belgian (Marseille had no problems today, so shouldn't have to much troubles against Belgian either.)
Lyon - Spaniard (This can be a tough game, but Lyon is the better team and should win)
South Yorkshire - Port St Lucie (An easy game for South Yorkshire which they should win)
Sweden - Limerick (Important game for both teams if they want to get into the playoffs. I think Limericks starting line will prove to be just to much and win them this game)
Bow Street - Belgrade (An easy game for us which we will win)
Zeta
Nola - Vatican (Though Nola got an easy start, they will soon come down to earth against the rockhard defense of Vatican. Easy win for Vatican imo)
Tranmere - Buffalo (A really hard game, but i'm sticking with my leaguefavourite on this and say Buffalo wins again)
Rome - Kilkenny (Another topgame which i'm sure gonna be close. So hard to say a winner, but i think Kilkenny got the advantage with better backups)
Shamrocks - Leeds (Easy win for Shamrocks)
London - Walthamstow (London won't have much problem this time winning)
Munich - Phoenix (Everybody will probably massacre them, so massacre for Munich.)
Drunken - Athen (With such a great game against London for Drunken, Athen shall have a hard time defeating them. So i say Drunken take this one)
Koln - Fighting Irish (Fighting Irish is the favourites but i think it will be a hard game for them.)

I'm just stunned. Where the hell did 25 missed tackles come from? My LB just doubled his career missed tackles...I honestly don't get it. Before you ask, over 40 in Strength, agility AND Tackling, and not far under in Vision. I don't know what could possibly have caused such a huge difference between us and Belfast, who had a total of 4 missed tackles. Something new in the sim in all liklihood.
Can someone from Belfast give me a rough idea (you can PM me, to prevent other teams seeing it, if you feel inclined to answer that is) how much your RBs emphasize the elusive side of the game? I'm guessing it was that rather than anything we did wrong. Our own "Elusiveness" back didn't do so well.
Well done Belfast I guess...I haven't watched the game and to be honest I have no inclination to now. I was expecting a tough and close game...that was a real kick in the gut (especially 2 return TDs
)
