Well I was under contract. Technically they didn't have to give me anything. I own one team and I GM another. When I asked my old owner if it'd be possible for a team I GM to trade for my DT and specifically told him I wouldn't do it if it stuck our team, but since I was a sub and the team I GMed had no DTs it'd really help me out, he proceeded to trade not just my DT, but my G too to other teams. I had been really loyal to that owner and had even made the guard who was now 22nd level just to help his team out because they were short on depth. Long story short, I find myself on this team. I have no ill will for my new owner. I was up front with him about my plans to leave in the offseason, but since he traded for me I would do my best to help him win this year. Next year I'll go to the team I GM, but in the meantime I'm going to go all out for Tottenham. As a level 25 Nose Tackle, I may even make a bit of a difference.

Well I saw there was another level 25 and besides I was pretty useless in the first scrimmage. Of my 3 tackles, 2 were chasing down receivers.

Well, we were #27 in the final rankings in season 3, we're #10 in the first one of season 4. I'd say we kicked some ass recruiting.

I have the best Quad of Gm's on the freakin planet.

Oh, and those ranking don't include the level 23 FS and the Level 20 WR I have commitments from day 2.

Yeah, we got a lot better this morning. On offense, we were able to bring in two new starting OTs, two new starting WRs, a new starting HB and a new Punter. Defense has a lot of new blood, too. But we weren't your average 4-win team once the off-season rolled around, and the fact that we've got a whole team of active and engaged players was huge in recruiting.

But it was a serious pain, for sure. I think the thing I hated most was when people would put their player on the Marketplace, then log out within 10 minutes and stay gone for a week.

Where'd everybody go?

The thing I don't get is, we probably still have 25 open offers out to players looking to fill one or two remaining roster spots - these are all active owners and yet we're game 1 into into the season and they havn't accepted or rejected contracts.

Because they are idiots... that's what is mostly what's left or maybe they are waiting for that 500k SB that will never come
