Good Luck Melbourne. Your team is good, but is your depth? We will see.

Our depth is/was just fine

It was pointed out by Chase (thanks btw ) where you had a glaring weakness to one of our glaring strengths, and we were able to take advantage of that today.

But really, this game was another decided on special teams...two forced fumble turnovers on special teams lead to 14 MTD points. Take that away and its a 17-13 game.

I just want to say to the Blaze that you have a very, very solid team in Brisbane, esp. that D-Line...by far the best we've seen all year.

Good luck in AAA#1 Alpha next season, and REV - send me a PM when you are ready.

You guys played a good game especially on special teams. 3 ST turnovers, nice. It may be good to note that your depth would not have held up as well on ours if we didn't fumble so much, lol. Your team has an average of around 1.3 levels higher than us. Our builds are similar though.

So we compensated for this by keeping some guys extremely fresh. The only thing is that energy doesn't matter much when the large morale hit from a turnover kicked in. It seemed that every time our guys recovered from the morale loss from a previous turnover, there was another turnover .

You guys took advantage of fumbles in the return game and that happened way too much for my liking. Otherwise, that extra morale we would have retained may have made it a much more interesting game. You guys played well against our low morale.

Nah, that's not quite accurate. You can have 10 1-15 teams in Zeta and have them play 10 better teams in Alpha and it would still skew your results. Who do you think would be more likely to win? The ten 1-15 teams or the ten better teams? That's not too far off of what happened with Aplha playing the Zeta teams this season. Just look at the records of the mid-low level alpha teams compared to who they played in Zeta .

Where it really counts is when you have the powerhouses of both leagues facing off against each other. That happened in week 17 with the Sea Dragons vs. BAMC. The Sea Dragons crushed them. It wasn't even close.

And then MTD hardly pulls out 2 wins vs BATC both times and they still think they are somehow so much better than the Sea Dragons who blew BAMC out? Come on now, let's not fool ourselves here. Let's take a look at what the Sea Dragons and what MTD did to BAMC and compare. If you think the Sea Dragons could put up those kinds of numbers on BAMC, what do you think the Blaze would do to them?

It's no secret that many teams in Zeta wouldn't like thinking about these possibilities and that's exactly my point. Your heads are way too big. Ah well, pride comes before the fall.

you do realise we viewed that sydney game as an experiment or i did at least. it didnt effect us standing wise and i wanted to know what our scheme at the time would do. we learned and that was that. i'm not calling anyone out but we just had a scrimmage against sydney and we ran it up on them, both teams had subs going as well so its just that. anything can happen in this game. but if you think B.A.M.C. can not hang with Blaze or Sydney your posting how high your intellect realy is to the public on here.

Yep, we knew that game was probably a test game, just like our only loss of the season was. I believe we talked about the Sydney BAMC game loss among our GMs only. It didn't make much sense any other way. Mega didn't hear about this I don't believe. Though, I was surprised at how many were seemingly fooled into believing that the Ironmen out played and out game planned us.

Did you guys notice that the Thorny Devils did not run the time out much in the beginning of the fourth quarter, passing most of the time? You guys had an 18 point lead. Immediately after your drive, our guys decided with that with an 18 point deficit it would best to run the ball 5 out of the next 6 plays, taking while taking off 2:30 seconds off the clock in the 4th quarter, lol.

Gotta love those brainy CPUs thinking it's a good time to run the ball, lol. Hopefully Bort's updates will address some of these things in season 4.

I think you guys will do well in the next league. With the new level adjustment implementations that Bort says he has been working on it will only help us get better.

Our lower levels tend to make us a better team towards the post season anyway because we level up faster. This is a large reason why we came very close to catching up to the Thorny Devils in build quality in this season, even though they are about 1.3 levels higher than us.

Good luck to everyone next season. I'll be checking back in every once in a while to see how things are shaping up in AA #2.

That would be interesting and pretty fun too. Implementing it would probably be pretty tough though .

This was a good game that showed how a lower amount of points in confidence can really hurt your abilities when turnovers are created frequently. I told a lot of our guys to train on confidence, but it really wasn't enough for what happened to us today.

Too bad they couldn't play well because they are a well organized team. I guess that 1.3 level deficit REALLY made a difference.

Brisbane I congratulate you on winning your conference and being a great team. But couldn't you give the Victors a moment in the sun w/o giving every excuse as to why you lost except that they are a good team. (May have been wrong but didn't see it once that they were the better team that day) And I'm not kissin Melbournes ass either, we lost and it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Congratulations to you both on a succesful year.
