No quality wins for Brisbane?

how about over Newcastle?.... or earlier vs. last seasons champs, Canberra?

Brisbane blew a 29 point lead to win by 4 points, and the game ended with Canberra on the Brisbane 4.5 Yard line.

Doesn't sound like much 'quality' in that win. Another play on the clock and it wouldn't have even been a win

Except - there wasn't another play on the clock. And if there was, who knows what would've happened.

What did happen? The Bandits beat the Strike. If you don't believe there's any quality in that, you're saying the Strike aren't a quality team.

I remembered reading Bort saying somewhere it only counted for 4%, but others have said Bort actually said 9% so I may have remembered wrong. With forum search turned off I can't find the thread to verify it.

Anyway, the chemistry hits probably did account for more than I figured, but still, chemistry losses are temporary and we got players out of it that will potentially be staying with us for 2-3 seasons at least, if not longer, so in the big picture I consider the tradeoff worth it.

i thought chemistry was 4% and morale was 9%

A quality win is based on the final score, and the final score was too close. That's all. =P

I understand that and I know ballbright's definition of a "quality win" as he has defined before. I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about the more conventional use of the word quality.

West Scranton is SERIOUSLY underrated here.
And that's a major understatement. We outlevel Fiji, have them beat in the matchup report in overall and in most other areas (not that that one matters much), and they have a lot of long time inactives that likely have unspent skill points.
No disrespect to Fiji intended here, they have a great team. I just think 95% confidence is a little more than ridiculous.

I'm guessing your prediction is based off of how they killed us last game. Our team is drastically different then it was then. I wasn't on the team then either, or it wouldn't have happened.

Best of luck Fiji. You guys have a great team, I'm expecting a tight game!

You guys just boosted, throwing things a little out of whack. These aren't my predictions, they're based off season long numbers. To be honest I had no idea Fiji had beat you early in the season, I had to go back and relook.

As I have two players on the Strike I'd love for the math to be wrong...

The trick is... they can only go by what has gone before. Levels are factored in at some point, but based on the records, yardage, and who beat who, you plug numbers into a formula and it spits out what it spits out.

Looking at the teams with neurons rather than chips, it's easy to see that the Invaders will not be a pushover. I still think Fiji wins... I just don't think the confidence %-age translates into the margin of victory... or as a reflection of how much better Fiji is or isn't than the Invaders. If anything, I prefer to think of it as a reflection of how many close games Fiji has been in that we've found a way to win.

And the clock is ticking towards the results.... tick tick tick tick.....

... and the clock runs out on the Sea Turtles. Alas, four scores on each side, but the Invaders managed to get the one touchdown. The one shortcoming of the Turtles... too many field goals and not enough touchdowns... came back to bite us. I thought it would eventually, but I was hoping it wouldn't be the first round.

GG Invaders... and whatever analysis comes out as the "If this had happened..." or "This little break didn't go our way...." happens, don't read any of it as any disrespect. Your team played well, gameplanned well, and you deserved the win. Best of luck going forward.

Thanks Junior. You guys played a hell of a game.
Once you guys get your offense rolling a little more you're going to be championship contenders for sure. Best of luck next season man

We lost our monster TE, but we've picked up a couple of WRs with a lot of potential. And I'm looking to bring in my DE during the off-season. I'm looking forward to what we can put together. Sadly.. that's for next season....
