nevermind asmodan you don't get it, you never did (it's like we're speaking a different language.....wait i think we are), its frustrating trying to explain it, when i've already done it several times......by the way this was not about the rest of the league giving us respect because some of them did, asmodan it was about you........it was about respect from a team we beat.....it was about sportsmanship.....if you had beaten us, i would have simply said "good job, well played, see ya next year" (just like our owner did when frankfurt gave us our worst beating). i wouldnt have repeatedly......you know what forget it......see ya next season.

surprisingly yes......it makes things much clearer......it actually explains alot.( as i think to myself "what the hell was that? is that swedish, how hell should i know i'm american i barely speak one language. if you ask the english its not even that many")

and like the english the americans are lazy when it comes to languages we just assume that everyone should speak english (and as you say the americans cant even do that right)

Thats entirely correct

i am constantly amazed by how much english the continental europeans (germans mostly) speak english. (with the exception of france - we all know they speak english but dont just to spite the tourists )

and the french should want to speak english more than any of them, because a lot of english speaking people died so they wouldn't have to speak german.

and if you believe the americans they tended to do everything important in the war single handedly

on a serious note a hell of a lot of French, Belgians and dutch died as the last line of defence.

We look for heroes when we want ot hire someone.

We look for heores to take leadership positions.

Why should it surprise anyone that we think of ourselves as heroes?

Or maybe we should speak Japanese, as lots of japanese died to get the americans of their ass to actually do the right thing.

More seriously, there were many heroes, most isn't very known though as it didn't have that much visible impact on the result.
Like who outside Norway knows of the daring mission in the middle of the winter, when they blew up the germans heavy water factory they had here.
