I wish you were too. They should make it so the teams ranked the same play each other.

Post season preview.

I think Bort is considering that for next season. The final game would be based on your ranking. So 1st place plays 1st place, etc

wow are you joking? Feel really good about a lucky sim error win? (not saying you wouldn't have won if our game plan went the way it was supposed to, but it would have been a much different outcome) I'll PM you if you like and show you our exact game and how we were supposed to attack all of your weaknesses and how the simulation shows we did the exact opposite. Don't talk trash unless you know what your talking about, which you dont.

He actually wasn't joking. That was a sincere apology for what he said before. I know Dave very well and he wasn't trying to be a dick, he's a good guy, really. He capitalized your team name because it was basically you that he felt he offended.

Can we seriously just end all of this now? The game is over.

Yes, my apologies. I just got frustrated with him trying to start something back up after we had ended it. And i actually do accept his apology, i quoted the wrong post and didn't realize it. I was addressing the 'shut you down in every way imaginable' post. I'm still burning off my steam from that game so cut me some slack haha. Sorry to you both

It's all gpod. I want to focus my game on keeping Kinshasa down here for another year.

I bet that would make him happy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the whole "deviate from gameplan" option only cover deviations due to what's working/not working? I figure the deviation due to the score is separate from that part.

i dont know, but neither one was the problem. We went 70% run and 30% pass (which has worked marvelously against much better rush defenses) and 10 of the first 17 plays were pass plays, before they had ever scored a touchdown. They didn't score a TD until the 2nd half and 60% of our plays were pass plays. The sim just screwed it up for us, my QB was on hard playing intensity which made him tire out fast from all the passing, i ended the game with 60 energy, thus why he threw 2 int's and so many incompletes. It just dind't follow our game plan at all, in any category

I see. Well, I think they problem may be how it is all set up. When the sim is set to 70/30 for example, I think that only means that on each individual play, there is a 70% chance for a run versus a pass. I don't think it self-monitors to ensure that the proper balance is being kept. Just a guess coming from a novice programmer...

Also, situations like 3rd and long the sim won't run it, I am pretty sure about that. Check the situation percentages, that may be more telling too.

that could be, we probably just got very unlucky. The sim caused our offense to play totally different and totally crappy than we had set, but it caused our defense to play tremendously well. They were on the field for 93 plays, but only gave up one touchdown (rushing) out of 56 pass attempts and 36 rush attempts. Whats also weird is that we set short pass to 0% and our average pass was 2.8 yards...

Yea your defense showed up when it mattered. It is hard to win tho when you do get out gained in yardage that badly. The offense thing is screwy I admit, but I won't complain. lol
