I see that happen quite a bit. Others have questioned it, I can’t remember what the expert explanations were…….some said catching wasn’t high enough, others said vision wasn’t high enough, still others said agility wasn’t where it needed to be.
Can’t speak for others’ builds, but I’ve seen my created dots do it with catching in the 40’s, AGI in the 40’s, Vision in the 40’s……and still make a catch and freeze like your example.
My personal opinion is there is a glitch in the sim coding somewhere. Players will make seamless catches in stride all season, then start doing it for no apparent reason.

PeeWee Gold Season 117 Initial Power Rankings!!
Very exciting season shaping up in gold, 11 teams all in for a shot at glory! The competition this season is looking tough to say the least!
1. Irridescent Ditch Fish- It was a fun 1st season back and it was great to come out on top. Certainly was not expected, i am guessing this season will go a little more like i expected last season to. Thrilled to see so much competition in Gold and looking forward to a fun season.
2. PeeWee Deadmen- Runner ups last season the Deadmen are starting the season with a target on their backs, but it doesn't matter cause they are already dead! So they will continue on their little green path of terror through the alpha conference.
3. Rome Gladiator Yaks- Yaks went 16-0 regular season and put up a good fight just missing the bowl game with an outstanding defense. The fuzzy ones will need to sharpen up the horns and hooves to stay at the top this season. Alpha favorites until proven otherwise.
4. Philly Philly-Great to have Philly back at it, thought we might have lost you to a large Marlin there for a bit this off season! Toughest D in the league last season and sure to be right in the thick of things.
5. North Texas Mean Green- Love the change of conference and the new name! I have spent some time in Texas smoking the Mean Green aka cheap mexican bud! Any team that can survive in that deserted wasteland is a force to be reckoned with!
Looking forward to our games!
6. Smurf Maniacs- Yes i like it !! Enough with the calm collected Smurfs, let out the Purple rage and let the Mania flow free!! Smurfs are already looking forward to getting their hands on those little green guys this season, i can hear the evil little war chants and drum circles from here!
7. Pittsburgh Steamers- So i have been looking at the match-up pages vs. the fish and its clear the new teams are solid builders, effective level 4s already and some nice looking bars. Pittsburgh has an overall of 24 and looks like they will be a tough team. I am wondering though about the logo and nickname, are you sponsored by a cleaning company or the rear end of a color changing dog??
8. Atlanta 404- Other than Berlin i knew little about the newer teams, some research shows Luxury has some Gold championships under the belt too!! I even remember some of your teams from my first stint in peewee. While i am sure they belong much higher i will put the 404 here due to simple math 4+4 is 8.
9. D Play Creators- Another new owner, but is there going to be a team that comes along with him!? So far Ignatius is playing with Cpus and not even a name change yet. Looks like the new ownership does have some experience with a rookie league trophy from last season so hopefully they will get up and running.
10. Green Bay Cheese- I live not far from Green Bay and see more than enough Green Bay Cheese to let me rank them any higher than #10. Especially after this past weekend. I have taken a liking to these cheese curd things since moving here and i do love a little sharp cheddar! So the cheese part of the team is a win for sure! A bit of research shows rj and MVK have a little Gold experience themselves including a recent S113 championship! Another team that is sure to not stay ranked in double digits for long.
11. Berlin Mustaches- It was enjoyable poking fun at Berlin last season in the rankings but i expect they will get their sweet revenge this season. The 16x Champs likely should start at the #1 spot but that would be no fun for them so i will start them at 11, #1 twice! Lets see how many weeks it takes to shed the extra 1 and get to the top.
12. Sad Sad Cpu team that no one bought, poor fellas are feeling left out and frightened at the same time.
