wasn't expecting to win but I was expecting "Auto adjust very quickly" to you know, actually adjust lol. 1 run goes over 15 yards, never gets called again. In fact only 1 run play got called more than once.

I will say this season is going to be a real test in the playoffs to see how much those morale bonuses from contracts actually matter.
At least 2 teams will run out of cash before playoffs and you can't redo pee wee contracts.

All but 2 human owned teams are over the salary cap.

We capped before the 2nd game, too scary playing cpu teams and fearing the humiliation of a loss and the endless bot razzing afterward.

I was wondering this, seems like i used to offer Max contracts to all 55, but couldnt remember if that worked before the season so stayed under cap, but thought it felt odd.

I'm trying a different approach to dot building and i won't really know what will happen until playoffs. I am running essentially the same AI, just tweaking percentages and even in the playoffs, it will just be percentage tweaks.

I'm not worried about CPU teams.

The first game vs a CPU team, it's going to be 100% qb runs and HB sweeps/pitches and my qb is slow as molasses, only used scrambler to get better majors. I relied too much on QB runs last season but still gotta have one to keep defenses honest.

@Yaks, I do want to see if you would be open to a scim. I want to try using the AI my rookie team uses to see if that works better. I was tempted to switch it up but this team is built different so I don't think this team can pull it off.

Once again, I watch the play by play, and ask myself "what the heck? I NEVER have ran a WR screen!"
Still no idea what playbook or OAI my team is following. I'm away from home for a wedding in Fort Worth, and "thought" I had fixed my OAI before getting on the road, but NOPE! Stuff still triggering that I know for certain isn't anywhere in my OAI.
And while we're talking OAI, let's swap to the other side of the ball, shall we?
Again, I "thought" I had set up my defensive packages and moved them into a somewhat workable DAI.
Watched the play by play, kept seeing defensive plays that I know I didn't create.........."like it's using basic AI defenses......hhhhmmmm?"
Open up my defensive AI, no need to scroll.............NOTHING. I musta dreamed that I set up my defense, cause it's ain't set up yet. LOL. Well, tonight after the bachelor dinner, and tomorrow morning before we get started moving all the stuff over to the venue for the son's wedding, perhaps I will get time to do my defensive stuff for real........I remember to hit "UPDATE" this time. I'm fairly certain I did move stuff over, just didn't hit the update button.
Got one more CPU team to get past before Argo destroys my team of Deadmen. Can't say he'll kill 'em, they're already dead!!

I haven’t had time to set up my defense yet. I’m rotating between the different presets and so far they have been decent. May want to try some out while you build your own.

Love all the scrims, still a mess here. 3 games of trying to get my passing FB into the game and today he still didnt play and we threw to the blocking FB. Gone through packages, plays and depth chart, just redid a bunch so i sent SJS a scrimm and hopefully it will work right!

100% QB run against the cpu should be a fun one.
