I know its a league game...but fuck it! More people post here than in the league forum.
Big time matchup in the professional ranks on Saturday*
Two undefeated rivals go head-to-head, the Alaskan Assassins vs. the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
Both teams have 3 Gold Trophies to their name since their run from Rookie up until now.
On the matchup page, the Assassins have outperformed the Tiger Cats in most categories with the exception of "Total Defense" & "Pass Defense"
In terms of individual performers:
QB Case Keenum & QB Peyton Manning are #1 & #2 in the MVP Race. Also neck and neck in Passing Yards & Passing TDs.
HB Lucky SOB & HB Luke Skywalker are #5 & #6 in the MVP Race. Both excellent backs, almost identical yards, but Lucky SOB has a lot higher avg. per carry.
Receiving threats TE Tony Gonzalez & Trace Diamond are the league leaders in Reception yards. Assassins WR Doug Baldwin, right behind them in yards but has more TD's to his name than Tony Gonzalez.
Defensively, the Assassins have 5 shutout victories so far in their 13 games, as the Tiger Cats only have 4 on the year.
Big time game! Looking forward to the challenge once again, Rob.

Yes, it should be a great game. With a lot of our ladder games being against JMAN teams we haven't been seriously challenged yet this season. Sunday's matchup should be a good indication of where we are at.
Looking at our history, we've each won 3 games against each other but Hamilton has won 3 of the last 4. It's been a fun rivalry for sure.
