How about:

If you are a Team Owner, your account gets double SuperStar slots.

Basically, you can have 6 S* instead of 3.

This doesn’t raise their costs. In fact, it would probably increase Flex purchases with boosts.

You’d still need to earn the S* which would also increase revenue.

Would be a nice bonus for Team Ownership and would discourage multi-accounts too.

I get that part of your profit scheme is for people to aggressively fail their way out of benjamins but would it be so difficult to have an actual hard number wiki?

I am starting to feel this way too. Of course they continue to change things up every season so a WIKI would probably be useless the next season. They also took away a tier but left the same amount of boosts - this started me thinking it's just not worth it - last season. Here I am in sophomore and I can't get my RB's to stay upright or run outside - esp in rain. I don't think I have any Benjamin's left in me at this point. I think I am done when my flex runs out honestly.

Yep, they broke the game.

CBs already had too few SPs to do all the things they need to do to just cover a guy. Then you factor in the run game and there was nothing left in the cupboard. Now they need to max balance as well on top of everything else.

I don't know about other tiers but HBs are barely even a factor in rookie now. You can leave things wide open because they can barely stay upright.

I really don't care for the changes at all. I just think they took some big steps backwards and it is just not much fun for me. All pass teams were already very strong, now they are on the cusp of OP. Why make a run or balanced team at this point?

I do think the frequency and impact of the weather games needs to be toned down. The negative impacts on Balance are pretty excessively drastic.

Regarding the passing game, in the NFL you basically need a Super Star CB to be a competitive team. If you are a team that doesn't play with your Safeties in a cover 2 zone you take the risk of being beat over the top.

Did they really break the game? Or are you just a little annoyed that you now have to deviate from your meta builds?

Not saying everything is perfect, but still enjoying watching people scramble to rethink teams because their plans were wrecked.

Oh I'm definitely there with you. I'm not rolling any more players or another team. There was a time where I'd have loved to get down to the nitty gritty and try to assemble a great team and freshen up my roster with better fits of players by building them through pickups. But frankly I have zero faith that new better player won't be a new worse player when season changes go in, and even if he IS better I'm not going to go up against a 3000+ win coach if I make a playoff game.

I was once a top 5-7 team.

https://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/522775

and this is with oline players that essentially fit the current game meta.

It's not so much that the meta changed, but that the meta so clearly favors one style of play. Air raid offenses are inexorably strong in this meta, and power running seems to be completely useless until Journeyman, at least from what I've seen and heard thus far.

I am unsure power running is good at all. I would be interested to see what a 100 balance back does with lesser speed but id imagine you are going to deal with fumbles galore in any non perfect sim.

What would you do? Roll back all the changes?

They could make the Balance skill less expensive... and/or have Play Action recognition come from Awareness rather than Pursuit. That way a CB doesn't have to dump tons of points into Pursuit and Awareness.

honestly... 100 power/speed/conditioning backs with no quickness or balance shouldnt even be able to do anything except take a handoff and run as fast as they can in which they would run someone over and trip and fall... but hey, they'd never get tired

I have a pickup player with 50 Balance to go with 100 Power Running and 100 Conditioning.

He seems to do alright. Slow, lumbering brute of a back, but he gets the job done. And yeah, he fumbles more than I'd like.

From what I hear, 100 Carrying Grip doesn't really help cut down on the fumbles anyway.

The game really shouldnt allow for you to maximize 3 main attributes unless maybe if you're a superstar. NFL players are usually pretty balanced with some skills that are slightly better than the others so why should every person rb on here be able to run faster than everyone and break everyones tackle?

Brace for impact and toughness i think are more important than high grip if i remember right. But this is how a power back should be.

Not entirely sure what to do about the power running game. It has been a stable meta for quite some time. I think that the idea of actually making defenders add balance to their builds was a nerf in itself to power backs. Still unsure how it all will play out, but I am sure they will have to tweak a couple things. Don't believe they are going to roll back it all.
