I just lost in OT to Death Valley. Did they deserve the win? Mehhhhhhhhhh not really, but of course GLB2 gave it to them.

Quick Recap: Don't get me wrong, Death Valley is a really solid team, especially defensively. As usual, we're having a slugfest. My QB is throwing darts, while theirs is throwing bricks. Offensively, I knew I could hold them in check. They weren't converting anything for the most part of the game. Defensively, we both can never get the edge above the other. We go up and as the sim plays out, things start to get interesting...

The Interesting Stuff: After having a nice first half, same sort of game we normally have, my tactics start throwing out some stupid stuff. Now, we were converting the passes so that didn't bother me too much, but with a run priority offensive tactics set in place I was clearly starting to get suspicious. When we did run, we literally ran the same plays over and over. I began to get upset because with numerous run options (I use A LOT of the running plays, many are good for combo backs), there shouldn't have only been 2-4 used.

The Downright Bullshit: Death Valley comes in throwing nothing but darts the end of the third and all the fourth. In double fucking coverage. Multiple interception opportunities result in double coverage grabs (heavy defense too). The TE went from unable to catch, to jumping catching everything. I got a kicker with high ass accuracy that completely misses a 30 yarder, and shit just starts to look bleak. My offense makes a final push to get in the end zone and seal the game and then:

Notice how the CB slows down and just lets the WR bye, this is important.
