Well Seasoned Florida Gators are #2 at 1-2 so obviously there is no retroactive fix for the first 2 games.

Again, early season wins don't really count for anything much. You blowing out Fairy Tail isn't going to give you that many more marbles than the team that whooped up on a CPU. The only way these first 2 wins come back to haunt anyone is if you are either tied in record or have more wins than BSB come late in the season in a close race which admittedly that will suck. I agree with you there.

But...on the other hand, it sucks less than having to win like 6 more games than BSB this season in order for Dream Team to have a chance at #1.

In fact, do dominating wins even give you more marbles? I think I seen Corndog say this but look at the results in the standings. That argument doesn't hold up.

Shouldn't be a choice between two bad situations. Either way teams that won get screwed.

I don't think MOV matters. I remember that James Madison guy bitching a ton back in the day about how he would barely lose to a good team and fall further behind teams a lot lower who beat a CPU team. I guess that would be MOL though

This is all I'm saying. How much money gets put in here just for us to make excuses about why it's ok that Bort short handed us.

I'm ok with the end result if I know everything I've done has counted. But to know people get screwed out of wins is what pisses me off, it could make the difference in the end of a tight race between 1st and 3rd or similar to that.

You have to see the other side, though. If a team played 2 tiers up in the 1st ladder matchup, that was a clear result of the lack of reset. If elo was properly reset then a team wouldn't have played 2 tiers up. Getting a win against a "much better" team would give them a "large" advantage over other teams. That would screw over more teams than affecting the few teams with good wins.

Overall, the situation sucks and no matter how they fixed it someone was going to be pissed off. That's why automating manual tasks and then building tests to ensure the automation works is important.

I understand what you're saying. Being an optimistic person I am, it's natural for me to say "well I'm glad were able to get this much done for us". But the side of me that knows this is a beta working to improve itself as well as customer satisfaction, I don't want to sell my opinion short of what I believe to be a lazy "FIX".

My biggest issue is total lack of communication. We deserve more respect from the GLB Gods.

We won both those games and instead of having those 2 wins and a loss against a good team we just have the loss. How difficult would it be for them to go back and add those games in?
