This is potentially a pretty significant nerf to Power HBs.

Here's some data:

FB Garbage Truck in scrims (yesterday) prior to this vs. Mystery Men (#1 Rookie Ladder last season) had 169 touches (not including PR/KR) and broke 59 tackles. That's 35% of plays he breaks a tackle. I was pretty excited about this upcoming season where he'd get Gold Power Rushing and continue to add to his 62 Power Rushing (he's at 94 Conditioning).

Today against Bollywood he broke 6 tackles on 42 touches. That's 14%.

This could be very significant. More data is needed.

My need to test v the same team Id suggest. But th biggest impact I can see is its harder to break d-line tackles who were statistically missing a lot more previously

I find your lack of knowledge disturbing

It was only speculation. The GLB Gods never mentioned it until now. Same with height.

More data and it's not good: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/438495

My 94 Conditioning 62 Power Rushing FB couldn't break a tackle to save his life against a CPU roster with 5 Chemistry. He had 6 broken tackles on 45 touches. That's 13%.

Perhaps it's better at Vet.

To Bort/Cdog: You should probably scale the weight adjustment based on tier. If you're adding in the full weight factor at lower tiers, then you're severely nerfing Power HBs at lower tiers in an attempt to balance the game at Vet. I like the change, but it seems like a very heavy nerf at the lower tiers and less of a nerf at Vet (when the HB/FB will be at 100 Power Rushing).

62 Power Rushing during the first few games at Soph should be decently OP and instead it's a joke.

Im a little concerned myself. My new Drago cant break shit for tackles. Although I did change him by lowering his power run to 88. Im trying to use stiff arm by getting run awareness up high...its at 82. It still doesnt fire as often as Id like it to though.

What did you expect? There was a nerf to power running based on weight of a dragged defender AND you lowered Power Running AND you're relying on a SA that doesn't hire frequently AND you're running at lower chem.

Really bad timing for Plan Q, Revision 3.

This is how it's been since I started playing, or at least what I've seen. What's the speed and conditioning at? Also why I don't touch tackling tech during rookie and barely in sophomore until almost over.

Didn't you also make him a little faster?

So, I remember see them put that receivers will no longer dive for passes behind line of scrimmage. Am I the only person this is still happening to?

Kinda difficult to go through and find more. But if I'm remembering correctly there's a couple more I've had.

40-yard Dash went from 5.12 to 5.08 so it appears he is negligibly faster. Looks like he focused more on quickness/footwork.
