This same issue happened in the NCAA Football series on the Playstation. I played that game every year since the late 90s. I remember a similar issue happened where the defense (CPU) would take terrible angles. They fixed it by moving the sideline point, at where the HB and DB would "meet" if no defenders where in the way, down field, forcing the DB to run further down field, around the blockers in front of him.

Something like that....

Could just be his anti-scout package or he could be taking a legit look at the HB screens. LOL

Tossed a scrim your way. Let's see those BIG, 3WR and 4WR packages.

Hmm, is it just me, or does it seem passing has been nerfed quite a bit with the pressure changes. Nearly every box score I've seen today has had sub 50% passing, and many under 30%.

Watch morale during the scrims. I've seen QBs with 1, all WRs and TE with 4 max.

LLUA vs. Tampa (power running galore)

So passing took a big hit? ...and running is still OP.

Morale was good all game long in two of the games because we were blowing the opponents out. Just seems to be more drops now, and passing to a man covered seems harder. Rushing on the flipside hasn't taken a hit on my end.

The morale gravitational changes were put in place when passing was what everybody was doing or before it became OP. I forget which. It would be no surprise if passing takes a hit here as morale and the way that a game is swinging already played a big role in passing success before this adjustment. Passing is such a fickle beast and the more you pass the more obvious it is. A couple of PDs and KLs can send a passing offense in to a spiral that takes a while to recover from. This can cause a game to go south quick and in a hurry especially if the opposing offense is moving the ball and scoring.

It took awhile to create a scrim and find a play that seemed equal.

This is going to sound nitpicky but here are two of the closer plays I could find. From today's scrim against BB and a regular season game.

Weather was the same. I had to adjust for that.

Here's S18 play: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/318289/1650669
Here's S19 play: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/338329/4172049

1st and 10. Morn crosses the First Down marker at tick 74 in S18 and tick 76 in S19.

Both plays start at the Weak Side hash mark. Both plays are unabstructed by the Defense even though the D play call is different.

Now 2 ticks isn't a lot, but Morn has added significant Quickness since this game. The S18 game was game 13 of the season. There's been 17 games since plus end of season and boost SP.

She's slower even with at least 25k more SP spent on Quickness. My guess in re-creating her at that time is that her Quickness was about 30. So 37 more points in Quickness isn't enough to offset the "Acceleration-Sprinting" nerf of S19. Yet her 40yd Dash Speed would be slightly higher on her player page.

This is what I am talking about with the pathing and meeting at the point on the sideline. Watch Destro at tick 49. Instead of running to the 50 yard line out of bounds point and avoiding the blockers, he runs to where he and the HB would meet if there were no blockers in front of them. it's like the defenders have no sense of other players around them.

It is a catch 22. If they truly fix defensive pathing - the outside running game will be dead

Did I miss something that said quickness effects acceleration now? All I saw was that top velocity effects acceleration less which to me means that the acceleration gained from sprinting was lowered. Not that quickness was given a purpose or a buff...
