It's going to be a lot of fun playing around with different plays and changing the primary target. We should definitely see a lot more plays open up.

I basically have weather ready to go; just doing some final sim testing on it and it will get uploaded tonight. However, depending on the random forecast generator, you might or might not have to wait a few days to see rain and stuff.

Also waiting on Facebook feedback/approval on our submission; hopefully they get back to me soon and we can go live on the FB app center! Should be a good opportunity to appear in front of a new audience of potential customers. That's kinda been my main focus recently since Yahoo is shutting down. FB is probably a better target audience anyway.

I'm working on a way for you to be able to select (only) the primary receiver for pass plays once you add it to your playbook. I feel like that's the most in-line-with-the-design-of-the-game way to kinda give you what you're asking for. Trying to finish that up tonight as well.

awesome, great addition. should open up a whole new spectrum of passing plays to use. game changer for sure. appreciate the post as well

I love the changes! I'm very happy to see that they are still working hard on the game and the potential to get us some new blood.

Yuuup!

There are some plays/routes that I think only certain builds can run effectively, this should make it easier to tailor playbooks to fit that.

We could be seeing some different "styles" of passing offenses grow in the meta.

The amount of variety this opens up can be massive. Huge strategy and creativity boost to glb.

depends, they dont work well as the primary target. but its possible some of the plays could open them up better by changing their progression down a spot.

I'm pumped! Any chance we can get a rundown on what the different elements do (we know about wind already)? I don't think I can wait to see!

Here they are as listed in the hover-overs:

Precipitation:
Heavy snow: large penalties to sprinting, consistency, accuracy, and awareness.
Light snow: penalties to sprinting and consistency.
Heavy rain: large penalties to grip, balance, accuracy, and awareness.
Light rain: penalties to grip and balance.
Clear/cloudy skies: no penalties to skills.

Temperature:
Cold temperatures cause more morale loss.
Hot temperatures cause more energy loss.
Mild temperature: no penalties.

Wind:
Stronger winds make longer throws and kicks more difficult. (There's a scaling penalty to accuracy skills and the modified ball physics can affect max distances and flight paths)
