i'm not sure what about my post warranted a "chill out", but whatev. i just saw a guard nominated a few times in a row who has a mediocre pancake total and plays for a mediocre team - by the numbers as best i can tell - and i wondered why he was being nominated for the mvp spot at guard. it was actually an honest question because i couldn't figure it out. i'm not saying slappy needs to be the guard but i'd be willing to bet there are 10+ other guards out there who have dominated vonpoosay in the stats so there must have been another motive behind it. has he made a bunch of game saving blocks? not allowed a sack or tackle for loss all year? i just seriously want to know because from my seat a vote for vonpoosay is a slight to several other more deserving guards.

Coach of the Year: PG (Perth), he did a hell of a job turning that team around.
Offensive Coordinator of the Year: Mavsman (Samoa), only team to score over 1000 points on the season. Everybody else is under 800.
Defensive Coordinator of the Year: Mornacale (Samoa), no explanation needed.
League MVP: Bob Avellini (Samoa) That man is not human.

Offense:
OL: Melbourne Assassins, only team in the league to give up 0 sacks!
Full Back: Gene Parmesan (Northbrook)
Half Back: Randolf McAnderson (LVSB), hard to decide between him and Rambo.
Quarterback: Bob Avellini (Samoa)
Tight End: ?
Wide Receiver: Joel Robinson (Fiji), he dominated. Scored 2 TD's against Melbourne's secondary.

Defense:
Cornerback: Tee Bone & Mike Lorenzo (Melbourne)...Sorry but I had to nominate the two starters from Mlebourne.
Defensive End: Mr. Moose (Samoa) another freak of nature.
Defensive Tackle: ?
Free Safety: ?
Line Backer: Candyman #66 (Papeete)
Strong Safety: ?

Special Teams:
Kicker: Tally Dawg (LVSB) Insanely accurate.
Punter: Christy Brown (Northbrook)
Special Teams: Devin "ANYTIME" Hester (LVSB)

I voted for one of my own players, Rambo Smoke for SS. I'm sorry if that is considered unsportsmanlike but 57 tackles, 12 interceptions and 5 forced fumbles..jeez come on..I have to give my guy a break

Credit where credit is due I say, he's done a phenomenal job improving the Pirates and my hat's off to the guy.

Semineer and Drunzer, you two might want to make clear exactly which Melbourne or Vegas linemen you're voting for. Not only does it help to give names when the votes are tallied, but you've got to decide which G and OT are more deserving.

Good point, I forgot about the one per position...looks like I missed the deadline too.

Pretty simple way to avoid a lot of this is not allowing anyone associated to vote for players on their own team...

Just make a simple rule that all voting members can't select their players. That way, there is no bias and the results are fair..

Not sure what you mean Oso. The awards, much like most MVP and season awards in RL, were based on the regular season, not post-season play. The polls were closed after the regular season was over.
