Neither of our teams were particularly good last season and yours was worse. Not sure their can be any gripes about a team that wasnt a top 5 team last season. If there is a fire it should be about how bad Madison played last season and not a preseason prediction, but nice job trying to create some false bulletin board material.

Looks like MeM gets a shot against animal kingdom. Last full rushing team we faced was GA should be fun.

Up to this point MEM has been one of the best run defenses in glb history so should be interesting.

How would we quantify this?

FSM in Season 11 was really good against run teams, and the schedule was loaded with Ladder Top 10 run heavy or pure run opponents. I was never in Vet when Salty was, so I don't really know how we'd stack up.

Ground Assault was also really good against run teams. I think GA's 5-2 might even perform surprisingly well against counters. That trio of S* DT's always wrecked havoc in the backfield.

Run GLB had an elite run D at vet. The only team to ever shut out the Stunners.

fo sho... having to play them 8 times a season back when ladder would match you up repetedly and compete with them for top ladder spots every season was one of the reasons we shifted over to more of a pass-happy offense from a 50/50 team. One of. Not necessarily the best. Kind of hard to determine the absolute best with how much turnover there is every season.

I'm certainly comfortable saying "the first great run d" for salty

from what i remember their run D wasn't that great when they reached vet? all those Early bloomer builds seemed lacking then, well i only remember from hawaii they where damn annoying untill vet where we ran like 450+ yards against them

So you're basing that opinion off of one game, which was a morale game, where we blew you out in the first half but you blew us out in the second half? I'm not saying you're wrong, just bring some better data next time.
