Yup, I've enjoyed our scrims. Nobody knows how to handle Deez Nuts quite like myself...

I think I've found a great mix of rQB/bHB/bFB/bTE/rbG/rbOT/bWRx2. They have mostly been given speed for the backs and tech for the lineman/WRs and lots of conditioning. Its paying off for sure.

Lots of Spam at 4-1 - loss to a QB rushing team in Game 1 was pretty annoying. We do carry a S* TE though - which makes doing the CPU challenge substantially easier.

Someone should try running 10 S* players next season and see if they can get to the #1 spot.

sorry - next off day I'll try to get a summary in

Ok - 9 games into the season...here is where we are.
yes - the ladder is kind of off because of bulldog.

Wesley Chapel Massacre: 7-2 - #4 - Dee. is clicking with the QB spam. Several games where they put up 50+ points. In their 2 losses they were shut out and scored only 7. Where do they go from here? I don't know.

Lots of Spam - 7-2 and #5 in tier - been very consistent obviously - lost the 1st and 6th games of the year. Offense consistently putting up 30+ and defense consistently holding opponents under 10. They would probably be higher in ladder if they were in bulldog.

Scrubs: 6-3 #7 in ladder - Running offense has been a bit of a struggle for me - primarily because I'm not figuring out how to fully exploit the running QB plays. I need to study Dee.'s offense more. Defense has played great with only 2 human players - 6 shutouts in 9 games though that says a lot about the competition.

Puget Sound Geoducks - 5-4 #14 - similar story as Tosche - Air was out of town the 1st week of the season - they started 1-3 and have gone 4-1 since. Hard to tell what this team will do from here on out.

Tosche Station Power Converters: 5-4 - #16 in ladder - hard to really determine anything here as they pissed away their first 6 (?) games with an all 5WR passing offense...They've won 3 in a row though including knocking off my team 14-3 three games back.

I Like to do da cha cha like a sissy girl in your end zone: 6-3 #18. Started 2-3 and have gone 4-0 in their last 4. What is going on? Sitholord will have to comment.

ICK 4-4-1 and #29 - Just won a 45-42 shoot out over the Beer Town Brawlers - not sure what is up there though - How about a synopsis crazie?

Phoenix Aztecs - 4-5 and #37 in ladder. Started 0-4 and have gone 4-1 in their last 5. Why? I don't know - tell us what is up Peta.

Imagine if I had a full roster!

Great write-up Steve!

By the way Inner City Kids ... as well as Portland Stromboli are all CPU teams. So my hats off to those guys for going at it all CPU and still winning games. We will see how long it lasts for them. 4-4-1 and 5-4 respectively.

They caught us with a half assed game plan. We were feeling really good after knocking off two really solid teams and thought we could mail one in against a CPU team. They put in a full on QB run game plan against man defense and...we got bent over. I honestly saw they were pretty consistent with spamming those TE plays so I thought a man/pass + heavy blitz defense was the way to go. Got totally fucked by shitty game planning. That loss is going to sting for a while.

First loss vs Boise I shouldn't have lost, they were outplayed offensively and defensively, I had a few bad calls, such as the fumble on my own 20 which resulted in one of their TD's and a bad play call which should have ran up the middle to score, instead dropped back to pass and resulted in a sack then a missed field goal. Had a few touch matches but since then have really pushed to narrow down what I needed to do against the last 4 teams granted portland Stromboli is all cpu they still have done very well with what they have, but I was able to shut their rush down only allowing 143 yards with a 2.4 average on 59 rush attempts. Chernobyl I shut their rushing down to 134 yards on 64 attempts with a 2.1 avg. New York Avengers was a big zeb attack for the 19 sacks that game although Robert Leever is a new owner for that team. And New jersey Generals which have a very respectable record and have played very well all season I shut down their rushing attack for 114 yards at 52 attempts with a 2.2 avg. So 3 of those 4 teams were pure rushing teams. Hopefully I can keep the string of wins up but have a tough matchup against the Southside Rebels coming up in the ladder.

Has anybody ever seen a player with 100 rushes in a game?

I am absolutely blown away by the success of our offensive setup.
