its more of both. yes i pump man and zone awar on my guys. but the higher quickness allows them to move faster to the ball. the awr part the dots will turn so you can tell they see the ball just cant get moving yet from that stop moving part and changing direction

In general I haven't seen the need for big Cov Tech either. I definitely keep Deflecting way ahead of it on CBs.

I see it as getting to top speed fast. 80 Quickness vs. 20 Sprinting seems dumb. But 10 Quickness and 100 Sprinting is just a different problem.

The Combine stats matter and they are there for a reason.

If you want to lower 20yd Shutttle times, you focus on Quickness usually. But Sprinting at times can also lower the number. It's a mix. You need both. Best way to monitor it is to see what happens with the next SP you're about to spend.

It doesn't take anyone long enough to get to top speed for that to be worth the cost of training Quickness.

Obviously. For something more relevant, I'm pretty confident Belgarion would be even more beastly if you could magically trade 10-15 points from Quickness to Sprinting.

Al Davis, is that you? I want to maximize making plays on the field, not some imaginary track stat on the player page.

80/20 vs 10/100 is a silly comparison. I'm telling you right now though, if you show me a bot with 100 sprinting and 50 quickness, I'm taking it every single time over a bot with 50 sprinting and 100 quickness.

False choice.

You wouldn't take a Zone Defender that was 80/80 over the 50/100.

At least you shouldn't.

Lol. Nice retort. But let's be clear: Zone defenders run 20yd Shutttles multiplies more times than 40yd dash. So which is the more appropriate #?

And as to Belgarion, his Route Tech combined with Quickness is why he's a matchup nightmare. I don't need a 15 yard completion for a First Down when an 11 yard one moves the chains. There are plenty of WRs with the Quickness/Sprinting ratio that your talking about and 99% aren't close to Belgarion's domination. So keep believing that when 99/100 builds prove otherwise.

No one beats Belgarion to the First Down marker/ QB release spot. Has any other WR had as many 40+ target games when blitzed? No. He's the ultimate hot read and it's due to Quickness.

How often are they sprinting 20 or 40 yards from a dead stop though? Neither number seems completely relevant when they're floating around at half-speed and then engaging the warp drive from a non-0 starting speed. They get to max speed much quicker that way.

Is Belgarion actually dominant?
He just has the ball force fed to him, is he actually dominant? How efficient is he per target?

wait...what?? Are you seriously suggesting that you'd rather have a zone defender with 50 sprinting and 100 quickness than one with 80 in both? That's just flat out silly

Sometimes I wonder....
Why is it so hard to accept that there may be more than 1 correct way to do things?

I guess being the #1 WR in his tier every season of his existence (currently #2 though) doesn't qualify.

How exactly is he force fed? I can't determine who the QB will throw to. A HB can have rushes forced upon him, but there's no way for me/anyone to force the QB to throw to him or any WR. (Screens excepted.)

And how many other elite Passing O teams have there been with only one S* WR? Most have multiples.

Every time they are sitting in zone and break on the ball...so every play.

Please show me examples of sprinting 20 or 40 yards from a dead stop. Should be easy to link a few if they happen every play.
