I would love to rock a S* studded defense with 2-3 S* CBs, a S* FS, S* SS and 2 S* LBs. I believe the perfect defense would be somefhing along those lines anyway as far as S* players on a pure team.

Build a team that could run the Wildcat (preset offensive playbook) successfully. A punter that's accurate, a kicker that's accurate, and defense that could run the Tampa 2 without getting torched.

I'm not concerned with trying to go high grip+strip, I'm concerned with strip+tech.

If you go high tech + strip, the guy will get tackled before having a chance to strip. Which is why you should go high grip + strip, so the defender can hold on long enough to strip it.

Yeah, I am now using Tampa 2 alot vs 2 WR sets. It is very good vs 2 WR sets because the corners play up close and can tackle the outside runs. I get torched when I run Tampa 2 vs 3 WR because most teams pass out of that formation.

Without going S* I think 80 grip and 80 strip are impossible to get together just because of the requirements.

Grip is mainly from strength and a little from agility.
Strip is mainly from awareness and agility.

Having all 3 of those initial attributes above 8 and enough sprinting and conditioning is near impossible. That's what my Sophomore LB's are set up around right now and I couldn't get grip above mid 60's without losing strip below 80.

With a S* you could set up initial attributes to get 80/80 grip and strip, but with a normal LB you've gotta go 70/70, or 80strip/60grip, that is without dropping sprinting below 50.

These are my two Grip + Strip experiments right now. Tech will not be going above 25 and no investment in power tackling is being made.

That is the build I would suggest for stripping the ball. Cap Boosters could help too.

Yes. Yes he is. When Cbomb gets high he is God's mouthpiece. His words flow effortlessly and with a purpose unseen until now.

I hit my peace pipe in his honor. All hail our stoned scholar!!

Slow possession receivers with no route skills. Gold Quick Read, with tons of pass awareness. You'd want the QB to bail on the receivers as quickly as possible.

So you essentially want to do Mercy Flush? You see how that works in late levels. Early you can get away with it, but once those LB's get speed your ded.

I dunno, I feel like Watchers was turning the corner when we got to around 80+ vertical. I feel like an additional 15 to Hands/CIT in boosters could have maybe made that a pretty deadly thing.

Would be interesting to put that offense back together in Vet and roll with a full superstar defense.
