^^ Exactly. If you build a team that relies on a QB running, you're basically building a team that'll only ever beat middle of the pack teams. You're literally aiming for the middle.

Terrible idea. QB won't be effective at vet because defenses are too fast and react too quickly. And he won't have enough SP to be an effective passer in vet. By trying to make a dual threat QB you'll essentially make him as useful as dog shit in both running AND passing

Agreed by splitting his SP your taking the balance out of your offense and will have to rely on a HB based rushing offense at higher tiers.

I will build a team that relies on:
1. RBs running inside
2. RBs running outside
3. QB designed rollouts
4. QB scrambling
5. QB quick passes
I will have a S* dual threat QB (already mapped out his skills...they look awesome....70 quickness, 55 footwork, 55, sprinting + Gold Tuck and Run (+20 quick, foot and sprint)....and
- S* WR
- Dominator WR to block on the strong side
Mainly run blocking O-Line with some pass blocking. QB will be scrambling ALOT. He will Gold On the Run.

I will enjoy it and have fun no matter what. I want to make this work with a zone defense....IT WILL WORK...
First team to win a ship with a zone defense and true dual threat QB...

Why bother asking for advice when you are just going to do whatever you want and still fail anyway?
Your best bet is just to find someone to build and run an offense for you. Obviously offense isn't your thing.

This should work about as well or probably worse than your non-S* slow built HB. Pretty sure everyone told you that wouldn't work either, but you think you know better than the people who have actually had success.
But go ahead and keep ignoring everyone and doing your own thing. Easier wins for everyone else I guess. Plus it's really fun to read your "I Hate This Game!" posts.

I'm not even joking when I say you could probably build a QB with 100 sprinting, quickness and footwork, and he still wouldn't be an effective rusher at Vet. The only ways to succeed running the ball in this game anymore is to break tackles, and if WCW couldn't build a PURE RUSHING SUPERSTAR QB that could break tackles consistently, you sure as shit aren't going to do it with a scrubby dual threat build.

WCW had TWO of them! Zero passing skills and got shut down regularly.

Watching you guys try and give advice to GE is certainly akin to watching you reason with a concrete wall.

I think zero passing skills is the key. If you know a team cannot pass, it is easy to shut them down. Just the threat of a passing game makes the defense open up to the run. Plus I plan on picking up alot of yards by scrambling, which pure rushing QBs don't do.

It would certainly be a lot more entertaining if GE actually fielded a top 5 type team. He is one of the more entertaining posters, but his team is generally floating around .500, so it doesn't mean much.

You can't "plan" scrambling.

You can by setting "scramble often". My offense will be so dynamic that I will pick up yards by several different ways. Defense won't be able to key on any one type of play.

Your offense will be mediocre at everything and good at nothing. There are ways to build balanced offenses but this is probably the worst. Your dreams don't match GLB2's reality.
